Yeah, I don't use any MagSafe accessories. The ring will show more on the lighter shades. I think it gives the case a weathered look. The leather is gonna change either way and if you want your case to not change then I would suggest some different case. I have few dings and scratches at the bottom as well but you can buff them out.
That's so shady. I am so happy that I switched to Andar. Bullstrap didn't age well for me either, I had ocean colourway and it looks black and quite a bit ugly at some places. Andar's patina is more reminiscent of the old apple leather cases.
I just received mine today and same thing with the camera plateau and the front lip. the lip near the bottom doesn't even look like it goes above the screen. I'm still on the fence but I'm thinking I'm gonna return it.
Also got mine today and same issues. My front lip does barely still go higher than the screen at the bottom of the phone, but only by less than a mm. I’m probably returning too. It’s a shame as I like the design of the case better than my bullstrap and the buttons feel nicer too. But the quality just isn’t there.
When I looked at return postage it was darn near half the cost of the price I paid for the case itself.
My RL open bottom arrived today. I also have a slightly smaller lip at the bottom of the phone, but it is enough for me since I don’t use a screen protector. If I used one, then the screen protector would probably touch the surface instead of the case.
