Yes, you can see the color of the phone around the screen. I have the blue phone so I really have to look but it’ll probably be more obvious with the silver or orange.

Yes, you can see the frame around the phone. I personally prefer this. This particular case is and feels so much thinner than previous BS cases. Hugs the phone like an apple silicone or techwoven. Also, when I say the fit is spot on it truly is. There are no spots that sag or any gaps around any of the buttons or top, bottom, or corners. Just uniformly aesthetic. It’s easily the best leather case I’ve owned.

You guys were right. This case is fantastic. Aside from an issue I had on my original unit which CS quickly addressed. I used to be one who only used leather cases up until the 16 PM. I forgot how nice they feel in hand. Makes my Caudabe cases feel bulky. This def seems like it’s going to get a lot of time on the phone. Dare I say the slimness is almost in line with Apples Silicone (which I love the fit but hate the material).
It really is. I like the open plateau Bullstrap better overall, but the Nomad Traditional Horween is definitely the thinnest and lightest.

Those of you with the open plateau Bullstrap, how’s your leather smell this year? My past BS cases have had a strong leather smell that faded over time but with my current one it was barely there from the start.

How about the bottom openings… my speaker and mic holes are pretty much up against the forward edge of the openings which makes it look like the bottom of the phone isn’t seated all the way in.
How does yours look?
Mine slightly favors the one side but to me it’s not a big deal. I always expect some variation. The two that I have had both are the same. I figure down the line I will submit a warranty claims when it’s time for a “new” one anyway.
Is this still your daily or are you switching on and off between a few cases?

It’s my one and only. The Decoded it replaced was nice for sure, but the BS is so slim and tight in comparison. The Onyx was my first case and really just a holdover until the Decoded got here from the Netherlands.

Picked up this two (blue and green) on Temu and I’m surprised: they look really similar to old Apple Leather case, only cons are the missing of CC button and weak magsafe.

I always add a layer of leather conditioner when I get a leather case. It definitely helps with the grip.

Au naturale. The Bullstrap has felt great from the start and I got black so patina/color change is not a factor.

I just picked up the black leather from Andar and it’s nice!
I’ve been using the Lonli Edition leather case in black exclusively since around October. The case looks great, and I really like plateau surround vs the Nomad traditional that I have. I think the leather may be slightly better on the Nomad, but the Lonli is pretty damn good. I use conditioner every couple of weeks on it and I notice that light scratches disappear over time, so that the case looks really good. Buttons feel good, although the camera control button is a little loose feeling. Not an issue for me as I don’t really use it. Overall, I’m very happy with the case and surprised there isn’t more love for this case.

Been awhile since I’ve been here but I have that slate gray on my 16 pro max. It’s such a gorgeous color! I know this post is kinda old but wanted to chime in on how much I love my slate Bullstrap!
