There's gotta be more GUI changes in the works, Sys Prefs looks URGLY!

...and the scroll bars (which means all the other widgets, checkboxes etc.) haven't been changed anddon't match the iTunes ones.

Seems to me like they're preping for a new Unified look. Not exactly iTunes 7, tho. More like iTunes 6, or an Aqua version of 7.

Sheesh, all you doubters -- if you can't trust an anonymous poster on an Internet forum, who can you trust?

Leopard is for some reason producing dithered screenshots, and I also had to convert to JPEG in order to get through the MacRumors 244KB attachment limitation. So I apologize for the screenshot quality, but hopefully this will convince you I am telling the truth.

What's the "App" that is running in the dock.

I hope by posting screen captures ( against your NDA ) you enjoy contributing to the reasoning behind Apple not disclosing different secret features to developers.

While I prefer the lighter shade of grey for system Preferences, it remains a masterful piece of UI design. Simplicity, elegance etc. I love it.

Does Safari instantly crash when using the webinspector in the latest builds if java script is turned off?

I find it deeply amusing that someone in an Apple rumors forum is chastising me for providing information. You do realize that if nobody ever broke NDA or provided inside information, this site wouldn't have anything to report on?

Oh, and to answer your question: Yes, I enjoyed it very much, thank you for asking.

Seriously Peace, chill out. You aren't employed by Apple to be an NDA enforcer, so parading around on these forums just makes you seem stuck-up. Without leaks, there's no MacRumors.

You're quit welcome because you have been reported to Apple.;)

Oh, c'mon. How'd you report him?

"Hey this one guy on this one forum posted some stuff and violated his NDA! His name is Egomaniac!"

Get real.

Anyways, Apple knows this is gonna get out. Quick Look got out. So did other small little features (like tabbed Terminal) .. there's no way to keep all their developers silent and they know it.

I liked Apple better before they became a MP3/phone-company.. It felt more like they were working on cool stuff for the thing I love; the mac. :)
Oh well..

It's a good idea that they're releasing another build, but nothing said on the "secret features" yet, and a tonload of bugs!
Starts me to think that the "secret features" are just overhyped standard features which have gotten a facelift.
But I do think that a new GUI or Finder are possible, though.

** I posted this on the mouse thread by mistake, my apologies for duplicating **

Wow. Just...WOW.

I officially now HATE the iPhone.

Well, it may very well be the blame game time. Apple really doesn't want to look stupid being so far behind on their operating system after mocking Vista so much so the only real way out is to blame it on another highly anticipated product. I don't know for sure if that's exactly what happened but it very well may be.

I'm speechless as well.
MORE REASONS to hate the damn iPhone.
Now they certainly do look stupid and dissapoint people.
People who love Apple for their computers and software.
People who really care a *&^@! less about an overpriced and overhyped built-in-ipod-and-phone.
