I ordered as soon as the UK store went back online (16th) and finally today mine is now saying Prepared for Shipment. Back in August when I ordered iLife 08 on the tuesday it shipped wednesday and I got it that Friday, so I'm figuring I'll not get my hands on it until next Monday/Tuesday as UPS don't deliver on a Saturday (at least I don't they do).
If you don't mind me asking... where in canada? I'm in winnipeg and mine still says "prepared for shipment"
I hope it ships soon, or i'm going to be upset come friday.
Not sure what the 'up-to-date' offer is but i'm in UK and in the last couple of hours mine is now 'prepared for shipment'. I'm confident of it arriving late tomorrow (although I will be out

UPS sometimes do deliver on Saturday.
Last year I had to get a replacement battery for my MacBook Pro, and that was sent by UPS. Of course I wasn't in at the time of delivery, so arranged to pick it up from UPS's local depot in Dewsbury about 35 miles away. When I got to the depot the bloke handling my package stated that in fact they had a special delivery in my town that day to a business customer, and could have therofore put my battery in the same vehicle.
I ordered my copy of Leopard via Amazon UK. The order is still in the state of 'not yet despatched' and details can still be edited, which probably means that it won't go out until at least tomorrow.
i hope my status changes tomorrow since it does say despatch estimated for 25th of oct if not im gona cancel and buy it from apple shop on friday darn it im gona be workin and the shop is parallel to me grrr

According to the Purolator site, it is saying "In Transit in U.S.", then it should hit customs and then it should be out for delievery in Canada.
Here's my dilemma though, Purolator sucks . Most likely when it is delivered no one is going to be home cause I will be either at school or work. And Purolator won't just leave it on my doorstep cause it is a Apple shipment; even if I leave a note on the door.

That's my plan. I had ordered with Apple online, but the estimated delivery date was next week, so I ordered with Amazon who claim it will be delivered Thursday, and if that doesn't get dispatched by Thursday I'll cancel and drive to a store on Friday evening.
which is your local store??? im workin till 10 that night and im hoping no manager is on so i can sneak off for a while!
just curious but anyone in the U.S. that shows that your copy is sent out- did you get the standard option to print and sign in case your not home for delivery? i have to work and was a little concerned...

Apple store in the Uk confirmed no one... including Amazon will be able to have it in your hands until 29-31/10... So I cancelled my online order too!
Although you cant always go by that, I placed an order for a itouch on the Sunday and it came the following Friday from China 2 wks b4 delivery date given
