Leopard has SHIPPED!

I really want mine to ship already. I also ordered the first day available. I will not start to worry unless it has not shipped by noon tomorrow. If it hasn't shipped by then I will likely not get it in on Friday.
 
So, to those who have received the retail version of Leopard: out of curiousity, is 9A581 the actual gold master build?

I think it would be pretty funny if people who were too cheap to pre-order are installing the non-GM build. 😀

Unfortunately, my copy won't get here until Friday 🙁
 
TO ANYONE WHO RECEIVED THEIR COPY ALREADY AND INSTALLED:

When you go to "about this mac", does it show OSX 10.5 or does it simply just show the build number?

If you click on where it says Version 10.5, it will show the build number and then your computer's serial number.

It does that in 10.4 already.
 
Still stuck on prepared as well. Come on Apple ship my Leopard already! The good news is that when I did order Tiger is that there was a huge lag between actual shipment and when I received the email of shipping. It shipped at 9:30 PM Wednesday, but didn't get an email until 3 AM. How I remember these details I don't know. You have to ask my subconscious. 🙂

Those who got their shipment delivered already, did you get any email from FedEx or Apple that it was shipped, or did it just show up?

I'm leaving my house tomorrow at 1-2 PM ish, if it comes earlier...the first thing I do when I get it will be to take unboxing pics and post them on MR! But by the time I get it someone else will have.
 
My copy has shipped! I just got the notification e-mail. Now, it's a mystery whether it'll arrive tomorrow (Thursday) or Friday. Doesn't make a difference to me, since I won't be able to install it until the weekend anyway.

That's great! If you don't mind me asking, are you in the U.S.? When did you order?
 
My copy has just been shipped as well. I'm just wondering if it's too late in the evening for it to be shipped to me tomorrow. It's being delivered by Purolator to my office in Toronto.

Leopard a day early would be sweet....😀

Yes! Mine is being shipped to Canada as well. WOOT!!! Stupid Purolator tracking is balls... pin or ref#.. both don't work for me and it says there are multiple ref#'s the same as mine. SIGH

Thank you. Don't bet on it. The PHOTOS thread has ZERO photos on it. Bunch of liars saying they have it when they don't.

Please do post the photos if you have time.
 
Seems as if most people's copy is shipping now... or the first of the pre-orders at least. I'm so excited 😀 I hope I'm here when they come to deliver it. I can't tell when that will be with Purolator's crap tracking.... 🙁
