I wonder why my UK order is being shipped via TNT whereas the majority of UK shipments appear to be via UPS ?

TNT are having issues finding the item but the Apple rep say's he'd think it would be out for delivery today -as it was handed over to TNT yesterday , he will e-mail me when he can comfirm

Cool. I'd expect mine 2 be 2mora, tbh, but either way I'm at work. Looks like I'll be collecting again... Hehe.

I've stated that the delivery address is a business address - maybe that's it?

Nah, I think it's over spill. TNT is the main carrier then Apple use UPS for over spill.

I think they tried to just use TNT for the touches and they couldn't get them all out. Apple is wanting this to arrive 2mora for as many people as they can.

Anyones Amazon UK order shipped yet? I am started to regret canceling my apple online one and going for amazon due to the ship date of the 24th... its now the 25th and still hasnt been shipped!

Nice to see someone else from Northern Ireland getting stressed over Leopard, we should open an Apple store over here! I even checked the PC World website to see if they had any copies (stupid, I know) but they don't even sell Tiger! My online apple store order has been saying Prepared for shipment since Thursday afternoon, as UPS is so slow over here I don't expect to see it until next Monday/Tuesday- at least I keep telling myself that in the hope it will magically appear on the doorstep tomorrow!;)

Still makes me laugh you know... Cancel with Apple and order with Amazon. Yah, sounds like a good idea.

Shipped have they? Didn't think so.

While I agree with you (I had an order with Amazon, but certainly kept my order with Apple as well), I don't think you needed to put it quite like that.

We all want to get Leopard as quickly as possible, and if I was one of the unlucky few who wasn't getting their copy before the weekend, I wouldn't take too kindly to that comment.

I had an email at 23:35 UK time last night saying that my order had been shipped - YAY!

I went into the order status and went into the UPS website (www.ups.com), pasted in the order number and .... nothing.

"UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later"

I'll be checking throughout the day!! :D

The thing that no one lets onto is that apple assign the tracking number for both TNT and UPS, its similar to Royal Mail's system of having packs of tracking stickers for Special Delivery or Standard parcels at their post office counters for customers to take away and fill in when and where they wish.

Only once the package is taken to the post office and entered into the system does the tracking number become available to the customers.

The system in place for TNT and UPS is slightly different in that Apple simply print off the labels for each respective company and then the courier picks up each shipment containing many packages each day.

Only once the courier has entered the apple assigned tracking numbers does the tracking system start to work.

Ya apple should open a APPLE STORE in Belfast!!!

My status is the same as yours, tho am gonna ring them in a minute and state that they posted me a newsletter telling me if I pre ordered i'd get it tomorrow and that am mega pissed off and why are they lying to me :)

I'm in Northern Ireland and received an email from Apple this morning shortly after 9 o'clock stating my order has shipped. Being delivered by TNT (probably arrive tomorrow) Happy days ... :)

Well, mine's been shipped by TNT and I believe it's going to be here today :)

I'm not 100% sure because I'm a little confused at Apple's tracking. For orders in the past when it says 'In transit to customer' it means I will get it that day. What's confusing me is that it still says estimated delivery '26 Oct 2007'

Don't get your hopes up too high, guys. If it isn't showing up on TNT's tracking system (or UPS, for that matter), then it is very likely that it won't be delivered today.

I'd love to know where they are all being shipped from, though. That would probably clear it up one way or the other.

I doubly agree!! Yeah i am thinking i won't be getting mine till start of next week *cries a little* as that means i will have to wait to the following weekend! I'm out on placement with intel and only up home from the south at the weekends.

Definitely. There's plenty of interest in the province itself and people would probably come all the way up from Dublin to buy there too.

Sort it out Apple. And one in Cardiff too whilst you're at it.

In the last hour or so my tracking number has changed and now works on the ups.com tracking site thingy.

However, the ups.com tracking site thingy isn't giving me any useful information so I'm still no clearer when I'm going to get it!

(Hoping for today, will settle for tomorrow :D )

I'm tempted to investigate the requirements a bit further to become a reseller - one of the projects I'm working on at the moment would involve opening a shop in Cardiff - if I can make the shop 'dual purpose' then so much the better! :D
