Gee... if I was doing this for Windows 2000 I would get it done in a week!

But since this is all for mac and Xcode is completely new to me, takes some extra time! I'd certainly be interested to see how it all goes for "startmenuisgone!"

Actually, startmenuisgone is not me. :p
I found the project because I lurk there is all.

I'm digging "Power Store" or "Power App Store" or "Power Market". Sounds nice and clean and professional

Out of curiosity, what platform are you building this project on? A PPC computer or a modern computer than can somehow compile in universal binary? Actually, can current versions of Xcode compile in universal binary or when was that dropped?

I am currently doing it all with Xcode 3.1.4 so that I can build it with my G5, but I am considering tossing another hard drive into my Mac Pro and toss Snow Leopard on it so I could run Xcode 3.2, but at this time I have no idea if I would get much of a benefit from doing all of that!

I wasn't referring to you :)

Ah, alrighty then. ;)

I would not bet on that. Having/designing/making an app store that does the same thing (essentially) as the App Store would likely run afoul of copyright laws. Why risk it in the first place?

that's why I suggested Power Apps Store

Power because of PowerPC.

Apps because it is the plural of Applications (The apple one is called App Store, singular)

Store as in store :confused::confused:

...App Store. :p

Most of the apps wouldn't work even if it was created for Tiger... take a look at his website :) Most of the apps are for leopard.

Q: What's the System Requirements?
My prime intention is OS X Leopard (Ver 10.5), However I will attempt at making this run on Tiger
(Ver 10.4) by either making a separate Market or using the Leopard Market but greying out
Leopard-software only.

Just let me cling to my lonesome thread of hope. :p
