Finally an iPad Pro with a notch
No need, iPad bezels are big enough to encompass FaceID without the need for a notch.

But you'd be touching the screen. Like if you are holding it with one hand. I get you could do 2 handed in portrait mode... but usually in landscape mode, people grip it in a way where they'd be touching the screen.
It's probably why Apple still has large bezels on top and bottom (vs sides)

I own one too. Then, they'll figure out how to put it behind the screen![]()
How about a report on who is supplying the battery for each device? I think that's a bigger issue currently.

I hope not!! How would you hold it?! They'd have to program some smart touch rejection if there are no bezels. Not to mention unless it's OLED, they'd need a bezel for the digitizer in an LCD set up
A solution looking for a problem on the iPad - the price will probably go up a couple of hundred bucks.Face ID...no thanks.
Lg and Samsung do not equal android Wym. They both make fridges tvs dishwashers along with android phones. They have different divisions that take care of apples ordersLG and Samsung = Android.
So while we all talk about how innovative Apple is, remember they rely on the rest of the industry to produce components.
I'm not saying it's bad, but the after being in the tech industry for 30 years, the industry is incestuous and makes strange bedfellows.
Because Americans don’t understand how Roman numerals work.
I really want Face ID on an iPad. But man, do I really not want to buy yet another smart keyboard. Cutting out the top and bottom bezels would be nice though, also the weight reduction plus ditching the home button would all be great.
Or maybe it's cheaper, better, or even just an additional supplier. We do know Apple likes to have multiple suppliers for each component.Which means Apple desn't want a repeat of productions issues late into the production phase.
with an OLED display = SOLD!All-screen 10.5" iPad Pro with Face ID?

the same way you do now ! the top and bot bezels can be shrink to the same level as it sides onesI hope not!! How would you hold it?! They'd have to program some smart touch rejection if there are no bezels. Not to mention unless it's OLED, they'd need a bezel for the digitizer in an LCD set up
MacOS was called OS X from 2001 until 2015. Who knows? Why would the next version not be called XI?
And yet, I'd bet HUGE there will be something else that is doubtful to meet production objectives implying great scarcity of the next round of iPhones. It's like a cookie cutter plan that is used- and works- every single year. If it's not this particular technology, there will simply be something else that will "be in short supply" per rumors starting to fly in about June-July.
iPads have always had a robust, long lasting battery. It has a large enough form factor to allow a massively large battery. The Pro 12.9 inch has over 10000 mAh. My only complaint with my new Pro 12.9 is that it takes a LONG time to recharge it. That's an argument for replacing the lightning port with a USB C, which could easily accommodate fast charging. How about a report on who is supplying the battery for each device? I think that's a bigger issue currently.
