    Hello,
I have a late 2016 MBP, and have noticed that when the laptop is closed, the lid and the base do not match up. the lid extends slightly past the right side, and the left side the bottom base extends. Its a very small complaint, but I have Applecare, plus I have to get my keyboard replaced anyway, so I'm hoping they will fix this. But has anyone else had this problem?

When the keyboard is replaced, the entire top case gets replaced as well.
    This -may- "even things up".

My advice on how to handle this:
    1. Take it in for keyboard replacement.
    2. WHEN IT COMES BACK, examine it carefully BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE APPLE STORE.
    3. If the lid still isn't "lining up", point it out to the store manager, and ask if it can be corrected.

They may not even need to replace the keyboard/topcase, it might simply be out of alignment and wasn't caught during the build (which would be unusual).
