Just read their facebook page. I don't know why you need to repost everything already on their facebook page.
As far as that meaningless message, they literally said nothing. They said so little using so many words. If that message comforted you or felt as if they provided any information whatsoever, they'll have no problems at all delaying shipments another couple of months.
"canamera" is known as `Mike Pursel` on the LifeProof FaceBook fanboy page. He does them proud.
Regarding those saying I did not talk to a Lawyer, fine, think what you want. But definiton, the way they have conducted business is a Ponzi. It is irrelevant whether the product exists or not. It is about how they procure money.
My own beef is simply that I put in a rather large order and wanted to change it. They were bordeline rude to me so I asked to cancel. Weeks go by and they still have not, and now the guy at LifeProof I was dealing with says he`s `lost` my order details. Meanwhile VISA tells me i`ve been charged.
Then added to that, anyone who queries anything on the FaceBook page gets pounced on by the Fanboy Army, or Life Proof simply deletes the comments. It`s not just me, many people are now complaining about it.
Good product or not, the way they do `business` is B.S.

I'm a product tester and have product tested Otterbox cases in the past. Their PR has always been friendly and happy to send me complimentary cases for review.
Lifeproof's PR on the other hand promised a beta unit after I emailed them, and since then informed me of manufacturing issues, then updated that to say they only have a very limited supply of beta units so there is no guarantee that I will receive one. They keep moving the goal posts on me.
The product is real, I mean I saw it for myself at SXSW, but there appears to be major production problems taking place that could adversely affect the company's future, especially with a new iPhone coming later this year. If problems like this keep happening the Lifeproof cases may never make it to the finish line.

Hope all things get taken care of! I would be pretty upset if I was charged for a big order, and the package gets lost along the way. Keep reaching their customer service dept.

After I watched the videos on their site I am amazed by the case. I am however on the fence about buying one based on what everyone is saying about the company already.

But sadly he is kinda right. If you are unhappy.....well cancel your order and move on. I mean looking at this thread with people thinking they have some kind of lawsuit and bashing the company...well is just a bit over the top IMO. Again if you are unhappy just move on. Too easy.

Both of your issues are irrelevant.. Many companies, even big and known ones do that. It has nothing to do with the drama that's going around here though. That's the reality in the blogger business.. I bet they received thousands of requests by now. They are going to filter out sites and prioritize the ones the they will most benefit from. It's their right and you shouldn't go around and tell those stories to cause even more drama.
Maybe they looked at your terrible website and realized that sending you a unit would be a complete waste of time?

Black cases are shipping out! White and Pink soon to follow. If people in the US ordered multiple colors, they are sending the black ones now and the others later free as well. This of course is for those people who have already ordered. They are still holding off on new orders until they satisfy those they already have.
Good to hear, i am still on pre-order status, but patiently waiting to order this one.
