Was at bestbuy today - No lines at all for the iPad. Not as many people are purchasing one as you may think. That, and they are over stocked.

my question is did anyone over the 200 mark realistically expect to get one today? i mean from all accounts the most any stores got on average were 180.. so theoretically by that estimate most everyone was screwed... anyone lining up past 500 should be checked for mental retardation if they think 1 retail location has 500 in stock lol

I saw easily 500 sold in the three hours I waited in line for mine.

Likewise. My line at the Apple store was well over 500 strong and all walking away with iPads.
