Actually, that's precisely why they start selling them at 5PM. The line forms inside the mall, but outside the store, generating interest. They may also have a deal with the mall to let them stay open a bit later than normal to accomodate the people in line.

iOS 5 version? So's my iPod 3. iPad 2 is not the right name for it. It's iPad 1.5 at best - there isn't enough improvement over the original to call it 2.0. That's my point.

Including this one article on Page 2 would have virtually zero effect on MR's bottom line.

I'm surprised how mean everyone is about this. I agree it is a silly waste of time, but it's far from the only hobby people take up that falls into that category. If he enjoys it that much, good for him.
no.. what is sad is that you think because he only has one friend on "Facebook" means he only has 1 friend in life. It is also sad that you think having 22 followers is sad. So if you have 100 followers does that make you cool or something?
We are better than this, the readers that is. But, other people have other agendas/requirements ... and here we are. That's why I suggest we have fun with the situation we're in.
If I still lived in Texas, I'd show up with some beer/ladies and show iJustin a good time. Then I'd post it on MR for chuckles. But, alas, I live on a different continent now. Even the most homeless people in Germany, wouldn't do that, unless it was for beer
well, I'm no expert - but I think one friend in Facebook and 22 Twitter followers is very sad when it comes to self proclaimed "internet celebrities", as this guy claims to be...
And specially after the whole attention he got when he pulled the same stunt when the iPhone 4 was launched.

My point is there is more then enouh to call it 2.0. I don't know what more they could have done to make you happy other then put more storage in it, which is pricey and they wanted to keep it at the same price.

go at 7pm after the traffic has died down and pick up one. I remember when the first iphone came out you could of done that and not have to wait in line.
Well I never said I agree with the guy or support him infact I think its quite sad... but its annoying to see some troll try to make someone look bad by making it seem that Facebook friend count or twitter follower count actually is important.
So all the teenyboppers and sheep on Facebook who have hundreds of friends (most of which they will not know) are infact cool because they have hundreds of friends or hundreds of followers.. people who believe such a thing are sad.
Going outside and meeting people or meeting your friends is whats important. Going to see them face to face. Speak with them and comunicate as humans.
