I dunno man. I'm completely all for this guy's choice, and right, and so forth to do his thing. But I genuinely believe that certain individuals on this thread have employed more brain power than this guy likely does in his greater life. It's not as if getting one (and iPad 2) five minutes before the guy who waited for an hour instead THE BETTER PART OF A WEEK will make ANY SORT OF TANGIBLE DIFFERENCE, except for the fact that he could have been elsewhere in the interim. Pretty much end of story, I would think.

I've laughed at some of the comments on here. To think that someone needs to get a life, etc., because they're poking fun at this dude... I dunno. Just wow.

Post frequent updates on your twitter about the length of the line so I can get a good idea of when I should go up there.
 
I'm almost ashamed I'm even joining a conversation on this topic. This is really just sad. I would be embarrassed to be this guy. It's a case in point of how commercial culture is affecting the lives and personalities of us all....though clearly some are more susceptible to it than others.

Dude....try getting a life and hanging out with real people. Get a girlfriend or a boyfriend, depending on your preferences, hell maybe even a job. Most people I know who have either of those things couldn't spend days camped out in front of a store waiting for something they could get delivered just a couple days later so I'm assuming you have neither.

This is a complete waste of time and effort.....especially all the bandwidth that has been wasted on this, mine included.

I hope for your sake you get a life soon and stop thinking that this somehow makes you cool.

Of course it does, but that doesn't mean they can't have the extra security. If you don't believe me, call your local apple store and ask them. They'll tell you the same thing.
 
I feel sad that he is so incredibly lonely, has no friends in this world, and has to camp for a object in order to find happiness. Anyone want to donate and buy him a hooker, not for sex, just so he could spend time talking to a woman?
 
Ya know on second thought, if it makes you happy, just enjoy your life and do what you want to do.

If people don't like it, they don't have to do it. I for one will never do something like that, but that doesn't mean you can't. Just do whatever makes you happy.

Since I'v been first in line for many Apple product launches over the past 4 years, the employees know who I am and help watch my spot during those times.

I also have security from the Dallas Police during the nights when I'm asleep to keep me safe.

I grew up in Highland Park Mi, ijustin wouldn't last 5 minutes if he was camping out there.

Oh, give me a break. Most of these comments were posted during normal working hours on a work day. Of course no one will say something like, "I'm here looking like I'm hard at work while making up insults about some guy who's on the public dole." The assumptions are indeed there but there is basis in the reality of the timing. Or all these posts originating from overseas?

As I mentioned earlier, I'm retired, it was cold outside, and I enjoyed a cup of coffee while reading the blogs. I also mentioned that it's possible that some posters really weren't at work at the time. If the foo *****, wear it.

So in your words not only are you taking advantage of security that's paid for Apple and employed to look after the store, you're also demanding free phone charges in the store and telling Apple employees to forgo their jobs in order to look after your belongings while you head over to your mate's house to take advantage of his/her hospitality. For four pointless nights? Wise up.

You know this thread is a complete waste when there is a red warning stating not to make fun insult another member. Just ask yourself why someone would make fun of someone else, there has to be an OBVIOUS reason? BTW, I've never seen so much negative ratings, what is now, 900+

I know. He was replying to my earlier post. iJustin is in Highland Park, TX - the Apple Store he currently is camping out is literally down the street from me. It's one of the wealthiest and safest cities in the nation.
