Looks like he needs a boyfriend more than a girlfriend. Was he wearing makeup in his iJustine website picture? His face is awfully smooth, cheeks awfully rosy, and lips so awfully pink. And that pose, with a dainty hand under his chin....

Ok, this is dumb. I think what he is doing (and the fact that this is "page 1 news") is silly, BUT, your homophobic nonsense is even more ridiculous.

This is so sad. I feel sorry for this guy.

This guy is doing what he wants. There's nothing sad except you actually believe you're better and therefore entitled to pass judgment.

It's this type of response (negative) that occurs no matter what's being discussed unless "Steve says". Then suddenly it's the best idea or product ever.

Mac zealots & fanboys are professional hypocrites. When someone suggested an additional size iPad, the nearly universal response was how bad it would be. But when Steve decided there would be both a 13 AND 11" MBA, suddenly it was a brilliant idea. How did all of you survive prior to having Steve to worship & guide you?

Sorry, MR, but you lose this one. What other type of comments do you expect on a story like this? Furthermore, a person camping out public like this must know that they put themselves up to ridicule.

Word, it was bad taste to post this, and the site made an error in doing so.

And agreed, if someone decides to do something, they should be ready to accept the consequences when it is an unpopular decision...what could someone possibly expect? A lot of us have lives, jobs, things to do, and a lousy update to a largely useless device that Apple tells you you need is pretty far down on the list of things that are important in most people's everyday lives. Much bigger fish to fry than waiting for an iPad.

iJustin?

lulz! no offense intended, but I'm invoking my first amendment rights when I launch a hearty

LOL!

in your direction.

if you take offense at that, it is simply YOU projecting YOUR intention behind 3 innocuous letters and one piece of punctuation.

What ON EARTH are you talking about? This has absolutely NOTHING to do with what I posted.

I once camped outside a courthouse to make sure I would get to see the convict get his sentence.

It was worth it - but I wouldn't have done it for the option of buying an iPad, though.

Hey iJustin...

Can you grab me a new Apple Bluetooth keyboard while your down that way? I ruined mine by spewing beer all over it after viewing that glamour shot of yours.

YOU BETTER WORK.

Let the dude do whatever makes him happy. He's not hurting any of you by doing this. He's not the first one, and not the last.

He (Geckotech) and I went to the store and had lunch with Justin when he was waiting for the iPhone. It was fun meeting him, he is a kind person and is enjoying himself.

Theirs more to his story and a lot of people are making unfair judgments and assumptions. Mostly people are just being rude, if your not interested then move on. I don't understand why people are taking time out of their day following this thread so they can ### on a stranger and complain about it wasting their time.

Its sad, its like people feel compelled to be rude.

He is asking for alot of it. To call oneself a "new rising Internet celebrity" for camping in front of an Apple store is like waving a red flag in front of a bull.

At first I thought he was an annoying, but now after thinking about it, I feel pity for him. I really do.

I just couldn't resist. The secondhand embarrassment is overwhelming.

when i first looked at that pic i thought he had one of those pictures of someone else held in his hand....but no i think that is really him.

I am also reminded of a certain Simpsons episode where Homer camps out all night for a better view of a parade and wakes up to a hundred people standing in front of him blocking his view.

Why waste your time and energy on feeling embarrassed on behalf of somebody else? Seems like some people have very little to do in their lives - and in this case, that ain't Justin.

Well, it actually doesn't take much time or energy. I'm very efficient.

But in all seriousness, the life of an internet celebrity is one that invites jokes and criticism. I'm sure he's handling it better than you are.

So if Steve Jobs/Bills Gates/Steve Bullmer/George Bush/Jr/Barack Obama/Julia Gillard (Insert or Delete Public figures of your choice) were members here then it would be unacceptable to attack them, but if not then it's fine?

Ok so all Public figures should register on every forum on the interweb, and we can cure "Forum Trash Talking" this year.

I love camping trips, ones with friends, beer, swimming and most of all those without cell service or power outlets...
