You know this thread is a complete waste when there is a red warning stating not to make fun insult another member. Just ask yourself why someone would make fun of someone else, there has to be an OBVIOUS reason? BTW, I've never seen so much negative ratings, what is now, 900+

Just a restatement of forum rules (not to mention common courtesy).

No he is giving Apple fanboys a bad name. This is flat out ridiculous. Of course there has to be some stupid disclaimer about not bashing this guy. Boy what a piece of work...

Read the post above yours. Insulting MR members is against MR rules.

You DO realize that the post you quoted supports the insulting posts saying the guy is an idiot, right?

He's saying it's a waste to even allow the thread to continue if you are going to warn against making fun of someone, someone who so obviously deserves it.

A prank

ugh, well I hope he doesn't get mugged or attacked in the middle of the night. Is he by himself?

I agree. I don't think I'd feel too safe if I were him, sleeping in that tent. I can easily see a group of college students dousing him with cold water at 3AM some night. He is not receiving good publicity for doing this.

I feel embarrased for this person.

Nope didn't. So I guess I was just reinforcing what he was saying.

Justin, you've camped out before for Apple products. Any stories you would like to share? Tips/advice/insight?

A mirror...

Just looked at his website and saw this:

Welcome to the New Official Site of Apple Fanatic and new rising Internet Celebrity, Justin Wagoner!

[Bolding mine]

That's what it's all about for this pathetic young man. He fancies himself a "rising Internet Celebrity." Seems to me that there are more important things for which to strive in life.....

But it is interesting, isn't it? We consider him as wasting his time yet how much better are we for spending our rime reading this thread?

He is sad, though.

If anybody did this kind of thing in the UK they would prob just end up with people throwing eggs at them and urinating on the tent. Does this not happen in Texas?

It reminds me of when david blaine came to do a stunt in the uk by sitting in this giant see through egg for 40 days, no-one came to cheer him on they just threw eggs and jeered at him.

Gotta love us brits ey.....

That very well may happen. Not by me, but I think others may be thinking about it.

Not Intended as Insult

But if you want to be taken seriously as a Internet sensation AND be successful, some tips:

1 - Please take time with your posts, blogs, updates, etc. and get your grammar and spelling under control. I don't want or try to be an Internet sensation, but I can hardly read your writings they are so badly worded. No one will continue reading your stuff if they can't. If you don't know what I mean, you need to ask for other's feedback and take a class or two.
2 - Don't use iWeb as your blogging platform. While it is an Apple product, even they are ashamed of it these days. Try any of the numerous free blogging sites out there where you will get more respect for using instead of iWeb.
3 - Lastly, get a new name instead of iJustin. iJustine is too close and you are not going to be able to compete with her until you fix the two issues above.

And if you only plan to become famous by standing in lines for new Apple products, well, it is probably not going to happen unless you seriously turn up the talent. Even as goofy as iJustine is, I doubt many of us would tune in 5 days out to see her doing what you're doing - even if she dances, cracks jokes, and wears bikinis (well, maybe that would work). But seriously, if you just plan to post the occasional update that you are camping out, eating out, talking with a security guard, and that you just got your iPad 2 and going home - you are going to be disappointed with the responses you get. Your time would be better spent furthering your education to land a real job that wouldn't allow you to spend 5 days camping in front of a store.

Should never have been started in the first place.

Whether or not you believe it should have been posted on page 2 or not at all is beside the point, as it certainly doesn't justify the unbelievably puerile responses in this thread.

I think it's pretty obvious that he has some issues. Is it really necessary to insult him?

I'm going to figure out a way to send the dude some Jimmy John's or pizza. Guy needs to eat even if he is just chillin in a tent and posting **** on his phone.

I think he has it covered. He said his friend's place is a few blocks away and he goes there for necessities.

What is this "full story" you speak of?

He (Geckotech) and I went to the store and had lunch with Justin when he was waiting for the iPhone. It was fun meeting him, he is a kind person and is enjoying himself.

Theirs more to his story and a lot of people are making unfair judgments and assumptions. Mostly people are just being rude, if your not interested then move on. I don't understand why people are taking time out of their day following this thread so they can ### on a stranger and complain about it wasting their time.

Its sad, its like people feel compelled to be rude.
