Is it wrong to pray for rain?

Seriously??

Me thinks that the Ipad 2 lines will be like the Iphone 4 for Verizon lines... very short..

Why bother with camping out? Just order the damn thing on line.

If I knew I could make 500 or 600 bucks off one I might show up at midnight before the launch day.

I figured he would be camping out again, but I just don't see the fun in it myself I will probably be waiting in line at the same store only I will wait until Friday afternoon.

After you hit 40 you pretty much oppose on ethical grounds the idea of waiting in line for ANYTHING.

Astonishing how someone has so much time and money to wait 4 days in line.

The one and only reason I'm considering going to the store on Friday is to pick up one before my trip on Saturday. Otherwise I'd have it comfortably delivered to my home and save the time and effort of going to the store. I've got better things to do with my time. Seems like this young man does not.

I love apple. I've waited in line myself, but only to secure an iPhone on launch date (I waited 10 hours overnight).

Waiting in line four days early, however, is simply foolish and plain ridiculous.

Just made the mistake of going to his site. The most telling picture: his "head/shoulders shot" is clearly taken on a webcam, in his bedroom. Or maybe his parents' bedroom.

"Mom, get out of the shot, I'm building a website here! On my $4000 Mac Pro!"

By the time the Apple Store opens on Friday morning, there will be a whole 15 people in line. 14 of which showed up an hour before. :D

I plan on doing the same but at the Valley Fair Mall in Santa Clara, Ca. An hour or two in advance and nothing more.

so im guessing he doesnt work?
because if i took 5 days of work to be first in line for an ipad or
anything else to matter i think i would be sacked

He does what he wants, if you have a problem with that jump of a cliff.

You apparently still need to come to terms with the ethic expressed in your sig:

Anger ruins joy, steals the goodness of my mind, forces my mouth to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, leads to a mind without regrets.

It's like the guy with a "Honk if you love Jesus" bumper sticker that flips off anyone who honks at him.

BTW it's "jump off a cliff. :p

What does this guy do for a living with this combination of excess money and time to piss away.

Yes. Because sleet or softball-sized hail or flaming wolverines would be much more appropriate.

This is partly the reason I am standing in line also, but we aren't sure if we are leaving saturday or first thing sunday. Either way I would rather have it for the trip than not.

I'll be getting to my apple store (one of 5 in the greater seattle area) at about 2-2:30pm on launch day. Do you guys think that would be enough time to ensure I get one?

He has ONE just ONE Friend on Facebook and 22 Follower on Twitter, that's sad...
