It's distinct lack of whimsical iToys aura, is ever so satisfying. A stellar example of Apple's ability to deliver a professionals machine of choice.

As a person who's just switching to Mac OS now, I'm looking forward to Lion namely for the 'refinement' part. I like the (idea of) improved UI, gestures, Versions.
I still use Windows XP on my PCs cuz I'm not a fan of 7 (similar reasons to yours), but with Apple's stuff I want the latest software.
Let's hear a consensus on if you think it will be released at 12 pacific or 8:30 est!

Just saw the Apple Store employees putting up Lion promo signs at the Apple Store! Didn't see any new hardware yet. Hopefully they are waiting until later.

Has Apple ever launched an OS without new hardware accompanying it?
I love Adove, especially Photoshop CS5, and Acrobat x pro, Acrobat Pro x is my most favorite App of all.
I'm looking forward to Apple's XI series of operating systems.
