Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't you do everything (modern, so PowerPC excluded) on Lion that you could before? Isn't App Store optional, and you can install apps old fashioned way?

Man I hope so cause before Sandy Bridge it was already pretty easy, but sandy bridge made it a bit challenging, I have hear Lion will make it super easy. I hope Lion supports native Intel graphics, then I will really be impressed.
Im currently running i7 2600k @ 4.5 with 8G DDR3 1333 and a ATI 5770 with 10.6.8 I can't wait to get Lion on the old hackintosh. I think I might have to buy me a mac track pad.

So what is everybody doing? Closing the Mac App Store and reopening repeatedly? Hitting Command R repeatedly? Clicking Featured repeatedly? Or jus refreshing this page waiting for someone to say IT'S UP!!!???

Omg you must never use it on Windows then. IT guys will give you a mile long list of why they hate Adobe, especially Acrobat.

Definitely on Windows 7. Man I love it for real. I haven't had any issues with it.
I heard if you do a hard reset while Lion installer (upgrade) is running, you can force it to do a clean install upon reboot.

I believe it refreshes on its own.
I hope so my eyes keep closing I don't want to have to sit around waiting too much longer.

I bet it won´t be released worldwide at the same time anyway, so i´m just waiting until you guys scream "OMG It´s Up! Downloading Now", so I can grab it a few hours later from the Austrian App Store.

FYI...It looks like Best Buy is having some sort of Midnight Sale on Apple stuff. I was looking for a case for my iPad and there are a few on sale just for tonight until 8AM.

Your seriously the only person I know who doesn't have an insane amount of problems with it. Next to Outlook its the biggest problem for us software wise at work.

Hmm. So the Retail release is the same version as GM build. Not that happy about that. Too many small problems, bugs, oddities. Waiting until at least 10.7.1 before upgrading.
