Give me LIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RAWR!!!!

Ok, it seems like the absence of sleep is getting into me faster than I thought, it's like christmas on July. Night lads!!

The only ones that say it sucks are the one with no $29.99 or with no internet, or they didn't meet the minimum requirements on their aging Mac.

This just in.

Twitter said if you jump in front of a train you will get Lion immediately. Good luck. Let me know how it turns out.

Don't be silly. Twitter, Google Plus, and Facebook all confirmed that you have to jump in front of a CIRCUS Train, carrying actual Lions, or no Lion for you. Either that or wait until 10 AM Pacific Time and you can get your Lion then.

The 8:30 AM Eastern rumors seem likely to me. Since the big new server farm is on the east coast, that will allow Apple to have an ample staff of techs on hand to deal with the inevitable issues that will pop up. They probably clock in at 6 or 7 in the morning to make sure everything is good to go, so we might see a slightly earlier launch if the checks go smoothly.

I'm Ready!

Just installed clean 10.6.8 - can't wait to try Lion out :)

Internet speed rocks - and I live in the middle of the Alps - the mountains literally go up 2,5km behind my house :)

I'll be impressed if Apple's servers can handle all the attention.

I'm sure Akamai's servers will handle it as well as the gazillion concurrent Windows Service Pack downloads it has done time and time again.

Wait what happened to the 30 mins or so? That was 35+ mins ago.

I think you have taught us all a valuable lesson here tonight, when in doubt about a product release trust Twitter as it is 100% accurate.

I always said it would take awhile for Apple to get the pages up on the App Store. They have the same problems with their main online store it takes an age to clean out and rebuild the cache pages for major product refreshes.

So it is coming in the next 30-40 minutes or so.
