I suppose then we should just say "After the product is released." Official or officially is used far too often (especially on this website), and incorrectly.

fair enough.

perhaps i chose my language poorly.

all i meant to ask was if anyone had any thoughts on how quickly we can expect some much needed updates (bug fixes)

with the increase in app store uk prices, does anyone know if lion will be more than £20.99 now?

Either that, or they are just - perfectly reasonably - launching it at a civilised time in the morning, in the country of origin.

One of the two...

:p

My point was about the whole -You are going to wait for Lion OS X sometime in July and you are going to love waiting- thing, not only waiting today. You would expect this way of releasing from a low budget team trying to accomplish something larger than their resources not from Apple. Apple should announce date and time on WWDC2011.

Haha. Sorry to have come off sounding like a jerk. Wasn't my intention. It's just one of my pet peeves, and at 1:55 am, I'm a bit sleepy and cranky. It's just that every time you read an article here, it usually goes something like:
"Today Apple officially introduced the official version of OS X. It will go on sale officially on Tuesday..." blah blah blah...

Well, I just purchased War Pinball HD just to make sure it's not a hidden link to Lion. :D

At least that will keep me busy for a while.

Lion has been submitted for approval by Apple in the mac app store. Hopefully it doesn't get rejected! Then we'd have to wait another week. Haha.
