Lion Launches Tomorrow On Mac App Store

Yay !

Its seems to be doing something finally.. that is on the App Store. do is all you have to go by... the dock progress ?

Can someone tell me how to download my free version of Lion, I only purchased my imac two weeks ago, when I press iload it takes me to the paid version in the store. I am in the UK

Did you even try calling AppleCare before you decided to go postal?

Despite me purchasing this new MBP on the 6th June 2011, as shown on my invoice.
Tried the secondary method, and it won't accept the serial no, went to applecare and that is recognised, with the correct purchase date.

same here, although i was 1st july. on the phone to apple as i speak. will update you if i find out anything

Edit: just got off the phone and he told me, he and his senior adviser have both tried with different serial numbers and neither have worked. he said it seems apple didn't expect the rush that lion has caused.
(they need only have looked here!) so yeh it's just a bit over run at the mo

Downloading in Sydney, Australia

Logged out of App Store, then rebooted.
Logged back into the App store.
Reverified my credit card (twice).
Hit "Buy" and finally, it's coming down.

I'm off to bed. Will install it at work tomorrow.
 
Whoever gets Lion downloaded first, please can they confirm that making a bootable disc still works?
 
The quicker i reply, the quicker new posts come in my Inbox... lol


Well... least that'll kill SOME time anyway.

let me know if the up to date link another user posted to you works
 
How do you tell remaining download time? I just have a lion picture and a blue line but I cant tell how much has downloaded and whats left.
