shipping to Europe takes ages!

Shipping to Europe takes so long! Is this normal?

eight to nine days shipping? makes me think :apple: wants to sell their overnight shipping.

could it take that long because of my "Apple on Campus" purchase?

Whaaat? You have nothing to be ashamed of! A lot of people posting here, who claim English as their first language, write things like "I should of ", "rediculous, "definately" and, horror of horrors, "I bought me two MBP's" when they clearly mean "two MBPs" :D
 
I finally ordered the base model Penryn MB!! :D
with upgrade of 200GB 7200rpm, apple remote and VMWare Fusion.
Shipping Date is 07/03/08-11/03/08
Delivery Date 11/03/08-13/03/08

two weeks there about till I get my MBP! :rolleyes:
Wish it delivers by next Friday!

I just joined to say "I'm waiting for mine, too!" This will be my first Mac and my first laptop. I've been using PCs since the 8088 and Apples since the IIe.

I ordered my 2.5GHz Penryn MBP on Feb 26 @ 3 P.M. EST. It was showing "not yet shipped" until Saturday morning when it switched to "prepared for shipment."

I wonder why it will sit there till the 5th? but eventually it will chillout before beeing used havy (or havyly? ... don´t know which one to use in this case).

My order purchased on Wednesday at 2:30PM Pacific has changed from Prepared for shipment to Shipped at 5:35AM this morning.
 
Mine has finally shipped and fed ex is beginning to predict the future haha, it says it is in transit on March 3rd. I'm confused...i just want to hold my first MacBook Pro (actually my first laptop):apple:

I ordered it on Feb. 27th at 7:56 PST.

That's because it is March 3 in China :D
 
I cancelled my order from amazon and went the Apple store route. They shipped my MBP on March 2 and FedEx says received package data...

Dunno what that means...

On the Apple store it says estimated arrival is March 6-11.

What does received package data mean?
 
I just bought mine and its already prepared for shipment after only 1 hour. Its also going to ship on the 4th...pretty speedy. I CANNOT WAIT THAT LONG THOUGH!!!

MBP 2.6 ~ 200GB 7200rpm ~ matte screen

IN STOCK! Got the last one though.
I'm really happy; this thing rocks! I've been waiting since last November so I can finally get some work done on the road.

Same here, except Ships by 06th March and Delivers by 13th to 17th March
