I don't know if this still works, but when I lived in Europe I used to use this to track Apple orders shipped with http://www.apecode.com/appletrack/.
I have in the past been able to track my mac's using the 80 number that is normally listed on apples website. When an item is shipped it gives you a link via apples website. The link shows your apple order status, it should also show your apple order number and carrier number start with either 8 or 08. but if not cut and copy it and then go to either TNT, FEDEX or UPS and look up international shipping tracking then under their ref number paste the number.
It may seem long winded but it shows it scanning in and out of all the customs and countries...

What does "Merge in Transit NL" mean?
My MBP is shiped and I have the same problem that i can't track it.
Mine is shiped 3 march and expected delivery is 12 march.
That's a long time for transport.
I'm assuming you're in Europe - If you've ordered multiple items sometimes they are shipped from different places, to the TNT hub in Arnhem, Holland (NL) and then merged into one package to be sent on to you.

And click "Reference Number", entering the 80XXXXXXXX number from your shipping confirmation email. Works for me with shipping to the UK.
Ordered a 15"/2.4 Penryn Macbook Pro here in Australia virtually instantly when the store came back up. (27/02/2008 at 12:51 AM JST)

Its still not shipped yet!!! Its now 21:16 on the 4/3/2008 and it still has not shipped yet!!! Has anyone received theirs in Australia?
What should I do? Call them up i the morning? Has anyone experienced such late shipments?

I'm in the UK, ordered a 17" 1920x1200 on the phone via the business store. First email said ship date of 3rd March, delivery 12-13 March...
Wouldn't you know it but got another email late yesterday (when it should've shipped already) saying shipping on 7th March but the online status says 17th!! with estimated delivery of 26th March!!!
Aaargghhh This sucks - I can't wait a month - need the laptop yesterday

ahahaahah sorry man but that is so funny. poor mac his been through so much.at such a young age.
Shipping to the UK sucks, infact whilst I am a total apple fan ... Apple and new products in the UK just dont go. I got my last imac in Oct last year took 5 weeks to get to me from start to finish... and it is going to be the same again for my new MBP.
Sad thing is if the rumors are true some of us will have only had our new MBP between 10-12 weeks then a new look MBP will be out. Apple want to expand in Europe but just dont offer any sort of service with new product launch. The iphone is a classic, I dont have issues with price, network but we dont have ringtones yet. Itunes, where is the price reductions? The movies? ect... sometimes its best to have something working the way it should before Mr Jobs floods us with more new products

Its now 23:33, I doubt they will ship it kin the last 27 min!!! What should I do? Complain? Any recomendations?
Just wait and relax... The delivery date is March 11! Why would you complain about something that's not even late yet? (ok it might, but that's all you can complain about today)
I mean sure Apple is experiencing some issues with the deliveries but nobody's going to die if you get it on the 12th instead of the 11th. Just be patient

I ordered mine online yesterday and its meant to arrive today, I got an email saying is has been shipped already, I live in Australia and ordered the base model, I thought I'd have to wait at least a week!

I know it's sucks.. But you're not alone. I ordered a 17" online on the 26th.. and I recieved a mail and you and I have the same shipping date. It says shipping on 7th March in the mail, but online status says 17th March and Delivers by 28th March..

I'd bet not. Apparently stores have glossy's with the 2.6 chip, so if the stores in London get some in this week I'll have to think hard about spending more to save a three week wait!
