In transit from Shanghai!

Set to arrive on March 7th by 10:30 am. That's great with me, because I won't even be back in town until the 9th!
 
It's here and man is it awesome, I made a special hour-long drive to the nearest fed-ex facility so I wouldn't have to wait on the truck. I love everything about this machine, this is my first mac and I couldn't be more impressed.

I guess this means I'm done with this thread, good luck to the rest of you.

the only difference I can tell:
Mfst: C-34900046 yours
Mfst: C-34900047 mine

what ever this means? Maybe they are sitting next to each other?

There is also a difference in weight and pieces, maybe cause i´ve added mouse and keyboard?

on some other site, they suggested this: apple manufacture --> Kuehne & Nagel to Europe --> Flextronic (IEC) for packing everything in one box (NL) --> TNT or UPS for delivery.

so different tracking systems should work. Should! but don´t!
-Apecode used to work for me(last apple purchase), but is not anymore. At least not at this moment.
-IEC tracking shown above
-Apple orderstatus just displays "in transit..."
-TNT, UPS will work as soon as I have a valid tracking number for their system

what does manifested and VEN-EMI mean? other people get VEN-UPS... or VEN-TNT...

The shipping status of my order just got updated. It took them 28 hours to change from "left origin" to the next step "in transit" which both happened in Shanghai -_-

EDIT: I cracked and called Apple. I know. :(

They said that my order is on a plane right now and left China long before and set to arrive shortly in Anchorage, Alaska. Woo.

That's exactly what mine also says now. And they updated the ETA - Thursday 6th March before 10.30AM. :( BTW, Are you all on east coast? May be east coast deliveries take longer?

Fedex now says it will be delivered by Mar 6th 10:30am which is actually outside the 2-3 business day window. I called Apple to complain but was told to call them back once it's delivered. Frankly, I'm not very happy about the way Apple handles the shipping.

I got March 6 as the estimated arrival date too. I will be getting it at 12:00 PM. Not too bad for me. I really wanted it this Wednesday though. This sucks. I have so much to do on Thursday that I don't think I will be able to play with it. :(

:( Darn it, I missed the FedEx guy by 10 minutes. I gotta pick it up tonight from their Drop off location. I should have blown off that morning meeting.

MINE TOO, maybe ours are together. My latest is "12:20 PM - Int'l shipment release - ANCHORAGE, AK"

I'm thinking either tomorrow or Thursday, what do you think? Apple says Thursday but Fedex says Friday.... (My time capsule came on apple's quoted day, a day earlier than what Fedex said)

Apple says Thursday and Fedex says Friday for me too.

I feel sorry for you, but lot of people here have said that FedEx delivered the box a day before expected. Keep your fingers crossed!

Mine landed in Alaska too at 12.18PM. There is still lot of time left for the day. I am hoping it takes the next flight today itself.

The sad thing is, the status of my order still says "In transit SHANGHAI CN":(
