What's your situation in relation to a MacBook Pro?

Apple, you had better be listening right now! If you don't release MacBook Pros tomorrow I am going to hire Blackwater tomorrow to bust down your door and have them get me one! I'm as serious as a heart attack!:rolleyes:

Just happened a few minutes ago... :D

Hmm, a monday (today) update to 10.5.2 sounds PERFECT for a MBP update tomorrow. Can anyone with 10.5.2 poke around to see if there may be some hidden features that may reveal some things that may show up soon?

This release today of 10.5.2 really brings my spirits up. It could really mean that new MBPs are just around the corner (an announcement would be nice, I don't really care if it still takes a little while to get here, I just want to know!)

Why should the release of 10.5.2 be associated with possible MBP updates? Sorry - don't understand why.

I think the idea was (correct me if I'm wrong) that there was speculation that 10.5.2 would contain the SSE4 instruction set which is to be implemented by the Penryn processor that is to be in the next MBP update. But in this 10.5.2 update I didn't see anything about SSE4. Can anyone confirm one way or the other on this?

if they listed SSE4 we knew somthing is comming, they wanna keep us in the dark al little longer ;)

Yeah, surely Apple wouldn't publicly release software which hints at new hardware releases, without releasing immediately after. Remember, we're not even meant to know that new MBPs are "imminent" (although common sense would tell us that anyway).

Also remember that tomorrow is one calendar month after MWSF - a reasonable timeframe for Apple to "delay" the MBP while people work on the Air introduction.

12th please!! :D

Too all Leopard users: Congratulations on getting 10.5.2 :)

This is definitely a sign of new MacBook Pros, but I cannot say if it'll be either tomorrow or the next Tuesday.

As above, I think tomorrow.

A whole week is way too long for Apple to have the "MacBook Pro 4,1" identifier out in the entire world ;)

i've just recently joined this forum, looking into buying a new MBP when it comes out.

a couple questions.

what do you think the specs would be on the low-end model and how much would it be? similar to current MBP prices?
