I am thinking of getting the silicone Magsafe amethyst case for my Mini 12.

Does the Magsafe charger put a permanent circle mark on the silicone cases? I heard of such circles being on other types of cases in the early days of Magsafe use. Anyone have silicone Magsafe cases in use now? Thanks!

I’ve been using the Cyprus Green case and using magsafe exclusively with it since purchase , about a month ago. No circle imprints yet. It did leave a small half circle mark on my previous leather case though.

Best MagSafe case for 12…Apple Clear Case. No question in my mind. I have tried them all.

Spigen = ruined by buttons with openings on the sides which allows dirt into case.

Otterbox = minimal camera bump protection; some cases have too soft silicone At buttons and bottom. Or others too damn bulky. Yellowing of side TPU materials on clear cases.

Speck = good protection, but bulky and no MagSafe.

ESR = unimpress with fit. Cheap Feeling. Too many edges/curves at the corner of case…ruins the clean look of 12. Dirt gets into the back of case way too easy. And sides will probably yellow within 4-6 months.



Apple Clear Case. Fit perfect. Sure there are tiny cracks on the inside layer at the bottom…barely Visible. Crystal clear. Keeps the iPhone 12 Pro looking as elegant as ever...looks like a piece of jewelry. Keeps dirt at bay…about as good as they come…of course not as good as a sealed case.

And of course, the ultimate test…provides plenty of drop protection:
