Dust lol scratch your phone, c'mon Why do you keep asking this?, if you work in a environment with dirt/dust or roll around in the sand with your phone of course it will get in, you wouldn't use this type of case anyway, with normal use i have never seen scratches from that, and i have had every iPhone.
You don't put a case on and leave it anyway, take it out weekly and clean it.

Get a lifeproof fre and you can sleep easy :)

Hah. Well, I live in Florida near a beach community. I also walk on the beach occasionally. Sand just flies around here. I also understand that the stainless steel scratches very easily. I also sell my phones typically or trade it into my wireless provider. You never had this problem with your 11?. The 11 pro scratches very easily. Well, I'm not a big life proof fan. Prefer catalyst and I currently have the influence. The problem is the lack of magsafe. Still looking for a decent magsafe case with good protection.

I've only had it for a little more than a day. and i mostly stay indoors rn. but the bottom is kind of open. i posted a pic of it. i really like the look, seeing the blue frame on the bottom. and yeah i too take the phone out every once in a while and clean it off. View attachment 1739482
Oh, nice. I also have Pacific blue. Yah, it looks similar to the nomad rugged. Love everything about that case but the bottom. That's good your not seeing any issues with dust, debris getting in. Keep us updated.

Sand is different than dust and dirt which is what you asked, i live on the coast too i just don't take my phone on the beach.
Walking the dog i use my AW.

maybe look into an Apple silicone case. it just has holes in the bottom and of course the open lightning port. that in my opinion is the best protection on the bottom.

Yah, sadly it doesn't have much drop or shock protection. I have a 6 month old. Hah. Not going to work for me. I would check out Moment, but it has the same cutouts. I would consider decoded, though I don't know much about the brand. My search for a decent magsafe case continues. My favorite case is the Catalyst Influence, but I would like to purchase a magsafe wallet.

Just checking in to see if any cases that have the strongest magnet connection have been released?

I have the apple leather and silicone, is the moment stronger than those?

i have no way to really measure but maybe just slightly. for example i have a UT Wire foldable phone stand and it has magnets in it. when i place my iphone on it with the apple case, i can remove the phone and the stand stays put. when i do the same with the moment case, i have to hold the stand because if not it sticks to my phone. with that said, the difference is minimal imho.

I ordered yesterday the new Barecase magsafe case in Pacific Blue. Hope the magnets are strong! Will post when I get and test it.

Oh nice, this is the type of case I've been waiting for. Though I wonder how easy the buttons are to push with cutouts, since I kind of imagine it being more difficult than if there are button covers built into the case.

The side seam and bottom corner gaps for installation put me off that. Does it have the centring magnet?

I got this Tough Clear Plus case from Case-Mate. The magnets on this is at least 20% stronger than my apple silicone case. Good quality case with clicky buttons. Only negative is that it’s a little slippery.

i bought this one and the pelican protector and i always find myself going back to the pelican because the tough plus is a bit slippery. the tough plus’ magsafe is a little bit stronger for me tho.

Barecase with magsafe is legit. Great fitment and feel. Covered in a rubbery-feeling material that is pleasing to the touch. I ordered the blue color and really like it. Magnets seem strong, as strong as my  silicone case. Tested magsafe charger and Anker magsafe charge stand. Fantastic grip. This one's a keeper for me. Waiting on Caudabe's release of their magsafe case. They told me just a few more weeks.

How hard is it to press the buttons with the recessed cutouts?

Just got this ESR clear case delivered and I have to admit the magnet is by far stronger than my Apple leather case. Buttons feel great as well only 9.99$ on Amazon.

Pad and Quill Traveler all leather case has a strong MagSafe magnet. To me it seems stronger than the Apple cases. Cyrill Graphite MagSafe case and the Moment thin case also have strong magnets similar to Apple. No fear of using any of these cases on say a car mount or on a DJI OM4 modded for MagSafe.

Regarding the DJI, would it work with the pad and quill case? (Clamp or magnet?)
