They also have white iPhones and I think you can say the same thing. Don't get me wrong, the white model, does look sharp. The silver one is the flagship. Looks the most unique. The black one looks like a black iPhone 7 from far I think.

Exactky. People like to justify the reasons why they couldn’t afford the phone or get one on launch day with these remarks.looks about as consistent if not more than touch ID is.
Agreed.touch id was inconsistent when it came out
Please update your list of reviews. Priorities. One of the reviewers said regarding the notch.
He stated along the lines of "It is a thing, but you get used to it." I'm not liking the idea of having to "get used" to a design issue on Apple's premium product.
Nonsense. You need to read it again apparently.Just read the Verge and it’s official, FaceID does not work as it should, unfortunately as many have anticipated it will take next generation to fix it.
Holding the phone at a given distance? Not working well in sunlight?
Sure great...
Silver is the best color for iPhone X until product red comes in the future. I never liked silver and chose it for my previous iPhones until noticed it for first time on the iPhone X design. It looks so gorgeous and premium compared to space gray. That stainless steel coners reminds the original iPhone. Looks beautiful in silvers color

People still complaining about the headphone jack maybe I just don’t care because I haven’t really used it since the iPhone 3GSThey will have to do better than this to make up for the lack of headphone socket. I’ll keep my iPhone 6S for another year.

Nonsense. The Verge’s Review was the only one that I saw that said anything about having an issue in bright sunlight. I’ve seen plenty of reviews from people who have been using it as their daily driver and none have mentioned any issues with bright light. What I’m hearing across the board is that Face ID works really really well. Of course it’s not perfect, but neither is Touch ID.Just read the Verge and it’s official, FaceID does not work as it should, unfortunately as many have anticipated it will take next generation to fix it.

Exactly plus the fact that I have to constantly pick up the X to unlock it is a killjoy for me. So much for the apologists here claiming you can unlock it at a glance while it’s sitting on your desk. Something I routinely do while my 8+ is sitting on my desk or in meetings. Now I gotta go pre 5s style with putting my 6 digit unlock code if I got the X.The thing that seems to crop up again and again in these reviews is Face ID and how inconsistent it is.
Agreed, its really the only major feature that the iPhone X has over the 8 (aside from the full screen) and if its consistent, problematic, its not a good move on their part.
It wasn't but I think the more popular apple is, the more they market their phones as a premium phone and the fact they're charging over a 1,000 for the phone. I think the expectations are such they they have to go get faceid right and I think that's correct. They want to be considered the best, then they better roll out the best.First gen Touch ID wasn’t held to the high standards that Face ID will be held too as well.
And it wasn’t fixed until the following model year. The first gen touchid is stilll bad.touch id was inconsistent when it came out
When you’re replacing something that was already there that really worked for me,First gen Touch ID wasn’t held to the high standards that Face ID will be held too as well.
