They're trying a new direction to unify services under one umbrella to get people to use Apple products and their extensions. Can't blame them for trying it from a commercial standpoint. Can't blame them for trying to continue momentum in Apple Pay or incentivizing people to try new omnibus solutions to their content cravings.
