The original iphone was live streamed I thought, but that was at a Macworld Expo I think. The WWDC keynotes are normally live streamed so any new products they announce then... but not these separate media events. In LiveBlogs we trust!
 
I would be far more surprised if this event tells us anything we don't already know than does. Bit of a damp squib really, much like the iPhone 5 launch where we all thought "oh, that really was it in those five hundred or so rumours over the past six months..."

Thats not true, every tech and news outlet would write about everything anyway regardless of livestream or not so Apple would not loose anything if they provided us with a livestream.

I doubt that has anything to do with it. They are going to get a ton of publicity either way.

Probably. The height of the iP5 is perfect as is for me, (any taller would be too much) but I wish it were a bit wider. Another column would be great.
 
Please stop defending Apple. This is ridiculous, how hard is it to provide a live stream? Even if it's low quality, I don't care!
 
What???? This can't be right??? There doing it from there own campus, it'd be easy as hell to set one up, why are they not?? What is there reasoning? Oh well, I guess we shall just have to stay with brian tong...

Well no live stream is a bit of a bummer. :( I'll just watch it when they post it and in mean time I'll just watch the live coverage at TWiT and browse here.
 
Exciting times ahead... though I won't be rushing to buy the iPhone until they release a model with a larger screen. Since that is not likely to happen today, I can just say that I am glad that things are moving along for Apple. Just hope that they won't take too long before a model with a larger screen is released. Love the iPhone and iOS7 but my eyes are failing me...
 
One report suggests Sweden's TV4 will be doing a direct transmission , starting in about 50 minutes time.

Anyways, last event that they livestreamed they announced the livestream like just an half hour before the show, if i recall correctly, so don't loose your hopes just yet.

Same here. Too bad there's no way to mute Laporte. And I hope Alex Lindsay is nowhere to found. Live streams are much preferred.
