How long will it be until Apple posts a video of the keynote? Because I don't want to hear anything about the iPhone 5S until I'm actually watching the presentation.

Last time it was about 4 hours after the event finished.

I'm going to try to be "good" and get my work day done, avoid all the rumor sites and liveblogs, and wait to watch it as it happened!

Same here. Too bad there's no way to mute Laporte. And I hope Alex Lindsay is nowhere to found. Live streams are much preferred.

What, you don't want to hear him banging on about lack of innovation? :D

I'm not sure if Alex will be there or not. I think if I recall it will be Leo (of course) Sarah Lane Andy Ihnatko will actually be at the event. and I think Rene Ritchie is coming to town as well so he may be in studio and I'm sure who ever they have on via skype.

Blame the internet

I miss the "One more thing..." days. Those were the most exciting.

You can thank the Internet for that. Every tech blog rushing to leak everything with an Apple logo on it leaves little surprise for anyone.

Where'd you get that from? I don't think that's quite right.

You might benefit from bookmarking the following link and refrain from opening any other MR or apple.com page until several hours after the event.

Gold Master for Devs today. Public release on the 20th with the release of the new devices.

Patriot, your posts have been gold.

I miss the most, Engadget's non twitter live blog. When they moved to the new live micro blogging format, a bulk of the commentary was lost in the mix. Now it's just like a video without any smarmy comments.

Big Blogs, right up there with Big Auto, Big Tobacco, et al.

iOS 6 was released on Wednesday September 19, and the iPhone 5 came out on Friday the 21st - both of them the week after the Tuesday the iPhone 5 was announced.

So I would expect the same.
