Worst presentation in Apple history?
no doubt, what a joke, Timmy mentioned the phrase "iPhone7" over 30 times in 90mins.

Considering a lot of pros tuned in to see where apple is going, they were completely slap dash and rude to creative professionals. Their combined overall comic attitude towards creative professionals bordered on insulting.

I started laughing out loud when they showed a RED camera next to a MBP - 4GB of video memory is not enough to edit or grade 6K~8K video. 12GB video ram is needed just to apply neatvideo and a couple of nodes in resolve to 6K RED footage, let alone 8K files.

I loved the way Apple has completely gotten out of the display market, and pushed LG as their thunderbolt display replacement.

oh... my i can't stop laughing... this is both fun and a total disaster.

they promoted the touch bar as the coolest thing since sliced bread.

And the prices... sales gonna plummet

Very unimpressive keynote, especially considering the history of the "Hello" tagline. I don't see the point of the 13" with function keys. So apparently, it's replacing the 13" Air, and possibly the 11" as well. Why not just update the 12" MacBook with the touch bar and 2 TB ports and get rid of the MacBook Air line?

2799€ instead of 2299€ for the 15" entry level. 500€ increase (550$) in one generation.

I paid my 15" entry level 1899 in 2014. That's a 8-900€ increase in 2 years. Simply insane.

They probably found a good solution: since they cannot make good and innovative computers, they just decided to get all the possible profits out of the users that buy them.

Apparently we are not allowed to post youtube links, didn't know.

Anyway, disappointed. I just don't get the asinine obsession with slimmer for the sake of slimmer. Especially since anyone who needs a powerful laptop on the go will now need to carry a bunch of dongles. How does that help anyone?
It's like those who want the starving children (ie zero models) to be on the cat walk. Talk about a weird fetish.
Would it really be bad in some way if the pro models were a few MM thicker and had an SD card slot and perhaps one two extra ports that don't force you to carry dongles?

As for the touch bar, pointless. It looks good but....just....empty.

Also disappointed no announcement for any new desktop Mac.
I don't know where Apple is heading, but I don't like it.

So they've made it thinner, scrapped the MagSafe, only use one port type, and the touchpad seems gimmicky? And all the time kept the screen resolution the exact same, on a Pro product it can't even do 4K res editing. Wow, not sure what to make of it, Microsoft storms it with a professional tool, Apple launch something a bit gimmicky whilst yet again ignoring the Mac Pro and iMac.
Just checked and the Mac Pro is still the same ridiculous price and old tech.

And as for pricing, people said the new Surface desktop was expensive? Not compared to the new 15" MacBook Pro it's not!

Man what are Apple doing. Oh but at least hey are thinner.... and I guess the biggest bonus was for Apple to hold an event without launching any flipping watch bands!! Well done Apple, pat yourselves on the back for that.

Can't believe they ditched MagSafe..

13 inch base with touchbar £1,749.00
15 inch base £2,349.00

WOW you can build a monster gaming PC for that and buy the top titles from steam.

Wow Apple better have a good iphone 8 launch or this company is ruined.

oh and thank you to all the leave voters (brexit) congrats look what you have done. idiots.

Microsoft, the new Apple.
Apple, the new Microsoft.

Sad.

We have officially entered into upside down Bizarro World, where MS puts out awesome pieces of overpriced hardware that everyone raves about, while Apple takes a small, but nifty feature, and overhypes it to hell and back.
