Samsung series 7
Obviously the housing is not 13.3 inch. Those have 14 inch screen which sits in a housing "designed for a 13.3 inch laptop". So the housing is bigger than 14 inches.
Samsung series 7
That's not what you said originally though is it
A fancy voice control is just that.. a voice control. That function never been very popular on phones. It's just another fancy gimmick.
I mean it kinda takes guts to be a new CEO and present your first major company keynote with something as lame.
Samsung must be laughing right now.
Not sure what to make of Steve not being there. I would have thought he might have at least been there at the start to 'hand over' to Tim or something.
Wow, this sucks:
At the bottom of: http://www.apple.com/iphone/compare-iphones/
"CDMA available only if iPhone 4S is sold and activated for use on a CDMA network."
I was hoping this would finally mean being able to buy an unlocked iPhone and use it on any provider you want in the US. Apparently not.
What's tastier - an Apple or Mango?![]()
There is also a difference between careful, rational, incremental upgrading of proven design, while expanding upon economies of scale versus trying to satisfy a bullet point list. If AAPL did the later, we'd be whining about the 2 hour battery lives in our iOS flash-compatible devices. The 4s is "evolutionary", not "revolutionary", and I've no problem with that. There's a difference between simply wanting to make money and making great products, the former guarantees a short life span for your company, the latter guarantees making money and a long life span.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-15175034 This article just sprung up on BBC News, pretty much sums up how I felt about the event.
So "fanboy" is a term of endearment? You need a hobby.
wow. well, I'm not surprised. I'd been saying for a long time that two iPhone models (4s and 5) didn't make sense from a business standpoint, and that they'd only come out with one new phone.
so now we know that even the WSJ gets it wrong (not as credible as we thought).
does anyone know if the iPhone finally got wifi-n?? I was a little disappointed not to see that in the live coverage.
Actually, Steve left as CEO probably because he is dying and didn't want to spend the little bit of life he may have left listening to whining like what's going on here.
I also would be willing to wager your BBC fellow rather ends up with egg on his face when we see the various ways Siri in implemented. Siri is NOT Google voice.
(Proudly) Sticking with my iP4.
Disappointment all around.
APPL down 12 points... Good day to own Puts
Also, I'd like to send out a big FACEPALM to all who belittled and insulted users for correctly guessing it would be an iPhone 4S.

That is all.
Even without a redesign this is far and away the most powerful phone out there. It will take Android handset makers another year to match this. That, and I'm thrilled that Apple is offering a 64GB option this year--its shows that they are not going to force everyone to use the cloud like certain Android handset makers are moving toward. All in all, great update and I'd buy if I wasn't still under contract with my iPhone 4.
There's no such things as an unlocked CDMA phone. THe tech isn't written that way. Which is why you can't get a phone on Verizon, and then jump ship to Sprint etc.
But nothing in that line says that you couldn't buy a no contract CDMA plan and then put in a SIM card for GSM service either because you are overseas where there is no CDMA or you left Verizon cause they suck. Only that if you want to use CDMA you need to buy it that way from the beginning.

That's the point exactly, the housing is capable of holding a bigger screen by making the bezel smaller.
Do we know if AT&T will allow current customers to upgrade a bit earlier than usual?
