Hopefully it will be shipped with an adapter to the USB-C port. It would definitely be a no-purchase if I couldn't use it with my Shure headphones.

way over priced, even by apple standards.

With the other updates they are doing I think they are going with the same ideas as the original macbook air where it is very highly priced, and in a generation or two it'll drop in price and replace the air on the low end.
