The chips suitable for the 15" won't be available until later in the year.

Because there are no appropriate broadwell chips released for it yet. Considering they are going to ship about the same time as skylake, I personally am waiting for skylake for the 15" replacments.

apparently not I'm thinking they are trying to push the more portable versions and if you want something bigger get an iMac.

Hopefully they do a bump of the 15" sometime soon though.

Makes sense why they updated the 13" rMBP. It needs something extra to widen the gap from current MBA. Not to mention that it was badly underpowered. Also, I'am glad they haven't caller the new MacBook - Air 2 or similiarly.

No, don't think so, you have to use bluetooth headphones.

They have one, the same place as on the existing macbooks.

This is no different from 1998. I think it's a good move. Look at a PC notebook and realize that the reason we still use VGA is that notebooks continue to support the old technology.

It would. I'm doubtful they'll go that direction though. Lightning still has advantages over usb for those devices.

$1599 is a lot, but $1299 for 8GB and 256GB standard now, and a retina display and retaining same battery, not bad?

Probably, but they might go into more iProducts after the watch to show how they integrate so I wouldn't give up all hope yet.

pretty sure the reason vga is still on notebooks is projectors in business settings
