This is no different from 1998. I think it's a good move. Look at a PC notebook and realize that the reason we still use VGA is that notebooks continue to support the old technology.

Yup, it's the way of the future. Few people use every port. Make the devices thinner and lighter and you only get the adapters you need.

This. I'm so disappointing with the pricing. But I shouldn't have expected anything different from Apple.

Not sure why anyone was expecting anything less. This is basically like the original MacBook Air. It is slightly ahead of its time and slightly underpowered. However, 3 years from now, we'll all be using devices like this. If I have any disposable money left after buying my Apple Watch, I want one of these. :)

I have to moan now. The Macbook air really needs an updated display. "Retina" is not necessary. Just a better resolution and an IPS panel. I would buy one again.

I can answer phone calls on the watch? Time to call Zordon and go back to the Command Centre!

Hang on... did they just totally IGNORE the 15" MacBook Pro?!?!?! well I guess that'll be killed of next then.

Blame intel, they had no new processors to update the 15" with. They could have at least given it a GPU and force touch trackpad update though.

First thing I thought of regarding USB-C

Still got a draw full of FW 400 enclosures somewhere.

I'll be curious if they can actually come up with something to make the watch worthwhile, so far it isn't looking like it.

I am going to actually use the keyboard before proclaiming that it's rubbish.

Oh, I'm not calling it rubbish and I'm sure it will be 1000 times better than trying to use an on-screen keyboard. But the older generation keyboard is already to thin to be comfortable for extended typing sessions.

Actually I already use an external keyboard on my MBP when I'm typing a lot. so this change probably won't be as bad as I first thought.
