heh.... I know some people like it. But i'm not sure the boasting about making the Air even smaller is really a bonus anymore. Hope they by doing so they're not setting up the AIR to run into issues similar to the Pro's had, with Thermal issues due to shrinking the chassis down.

not sure anyone was clamouring for a .05lb lighter air... but this just moves it closer to the 11" air's footprint which was a great little machine (had one)

It was the first port shown in the intro video. It’s there.

I don’t get it. What was/is the point of the rMB if this was Apple’s plans for the MBA all along? Confusing.

I think they've missed the point completely.

The 12 inch MacBook was probably meant to replace the Air, but people have continued to buy the Air as it was a great all rounder (USB-A, Magsafe, reasonable price, old keyboard etc). They've now removed all of that.
