Getting so much closer to Star Trek business model... those stores, it's like bright DS9 happy new world where one corporation provides all our creative with A-Chip powered Silicon-Soma needs. Tis the model for the future and Apple are on board, Apple Social Computer company. .

That Mac Mini looks like an opening act for the new Mac Pro - I almost thought from the picture they were hinting at the modular approach I posted about some years ago here.

They've given up on the sub $1000 laptop market. The days of a clean, limited, linear product lineup is gone as well. Like other manufacturer's they'll have multiple products overlapping price points and segments. We can buy lots of 12/13" laptops from Dell, Lenovo etc. It's the same for Apple now.
