You are not required to buy the 16 gb model, so what's your problem?

Because Apple then forces me not to buy the entry model, if I want to have decent storage. It's about having the decency to offer an entry model that is not essentially outdated. And even though Im buying a phone with more storage, I cant buy a phone with more ram. Really, this is about Apple not showing basic decency towards its customers.

The U2 Advert kept restarting now everyone from apple keeps being asked to stand up....

In case you didn't see the event, here is what you missed:

1) A bigger iPhone and even bigger iPhone Plus with modest speed, display, and camera improvements
2) :apple: Pay so you can help boost :apple: profits by paying with your iPhone
3) :apple: Watch, a $349 iPhone accessory
4) A one song U2 concert and iTunes free album announcement

With all the build up to this media event I was really hoping for something more but the rumors, including the U2 concert, proved to spoil the lackluster launches. Instead of getting excited in the future I'm just going to check MacRumors beforehand, but if this is all they were able to come up with in two years with some slight possible guidance from Steve I'm really doubtful anything they produce from here on out will be anything less than disappointing.

1. Ipad invented by the INVENTOR Steve Jobs.
2. Ipad substituted personal computers.
3. Apple watch is a useless gadget.

and one more thing

Why the geeks to tell me what to wear?

LOL. How old are you? I'm sorry you are incapable of thinking for yourself. Whom would you prefer tell you what to wear?

Seriously suspicious that there are competitor shills being paid to flood this thread with "hurr door Apple is rotten", for their sake I hope they are being paid to blabber such bizarre rubbish.

How much is Apple paying you to shill? :apple:

This is so sad... worst keynote ever! Other companies taking edge with innovation. Cannot innovate my a•s - well you can't just now - face it!

So does the Apple Watch have any functionality without an iPhone being attached (if your iPhone is off, for example)?

I definitely can't see people lugging around their 5.5" 6 Plus with them when they go running or for an intense workout...

Been watching all Keynotes for the last 8 years. Have had my doubts and so on, but never been truly let down and felt like Apple did a terrible job. Until today. Holy c*** the Apple Watch is fat, square and has and ugly a** interface. The fact that the keynote was streamed through a connection that made my iPad Mini Retina, my iPhone and my 15" MBPr seem like Windows-products did NOT help with my feeling towards this terrible, terrible release.

And the iPhone? Well, when the iPhone 5 launched I and a lot other guys said "Give me an iPhone that looks like that new iPod Touch, and I will be a happy camper". Today that's the iPhone we got. Though this is two years later, HTC has made that exact phone minus iOS over a year ago and Apple is loosing terrain as the pioneering company fast.

And please, before any of you gives me that old "there's allways someone who hates on Apple" mind you that I have ALWAYS been a massive Apple "fanboy" and supported the company through even great disappointments as antennagate and the whole maps-thing.

Yikes.

Im a huge gadget geek and even I have no interest in buying that watch. It does absolutely NOTHING different compared to other smarwartches. I was really expecting more from apple. Not even wireless charging.

I hate to say it, but if Steve Jobs were still around....

He would have had the courage NOT to release this.

WOW, just WOW.

Great job Apple.
U2 at the end just was the cherry on the top.
Congrats all the way. The :apple:Watch looks very, very interesting.

I do with my note 3. In an armband. forget it's there after a bit. Ran a 5k with it without issue.
