I love(d) my iPhone, iPad, iMac, and Mac Air, beautiful devices that are very pleasant to use. Part of the Apple appeal is definitely the physical beauty, but looking at the Apple Watch I am quite disappointed, as I was expecting a round wrap-around bracelet like form factor. I am sure others share my thoughts, especially balking is the price point, as reflected in today's share price movement.

Am I the only left-handed person here who noticed that the :apple:Watch seems to come in a right-handed version?

Everyone was wearing it on their left wrist. Lefties wear watches on the right wrist hence the crown is awkwardly placed. Grrrr.

No, you're not. I'm left-handed, wear my watch on my right wrist. It was the first thing I noticed. I couldn't buy one of these if I wanted one (and I don't want one). But were I interested it would be a deal-breaker for me. But, being left-handed, I realize that the world is not built for me. Nor, apparently, is Apple.

The lack of a 32 gig option is a killer price wise, especially for the plus version. Also anyone know if the 5.5 is 2gb ram or just 1?

I'll be very surprised if this watch isn't going to be a big commercial disappointment for Apple. That said I haven't personally fondled one yet but still... a new iPod, iPhone or iPad it ain't.

why on earth would you think it will be a disappointment? their track record says otherwise.

since you haven't used one your guesses are pretty worthless.

hey guys one question..

who the ******* told Apple that we like square watches?

NOBODY LIKES SQUARE WATCHES!

Apple will fail. Tim should go away.

I love rectangular watches. Not a big fan of round wristwatches.

You have to have a phone, a specific phone, for this to work?
The same exact thing everyone slammed the Gear for.
Cannot express how severely disappointed I am.
FAIL.

Now bring on iPad Air 2 & a new Nano.

I'm not surprised that it's tied to the iPhone. It works with the 5 and beyond. Clearly Apple doesn't see the Apple Watch as the "next iPhone." It sees it as an accessory, which is probably the right way to view the market. A certain percentage of smartphone buyers will buy matching watches. Samsung users have the Gear. Other Android users have the Moto 360. And soon Apple users will have the Apple Watch.

I noticed too. But "luckily" for me I'm a lefty who wears the watch on the left hand (weird I know)

I really think that IWATCH is to big for the LADIES. Can you really picture Women going to meetings with that thing on their wrist?

There is a smaller version. Apple also promised more versions. My guess is we'll see more tweaks in later releases once there is more feedback from the fashion writers.

Just got up here in Australia and I'm now ready to ready 97 pages of b*******t.

Just kidding. Missed the first hour waiting for the replay.
