It's creeping back up again. It really shot up during the iPhone 6 announcement. The biggest uncertainty now is when the :apple: Watch will be available. If it makes it in time for Christmas it should do well.

Unfortunately, it looks like 2015 for the release.

Stock down by 0.14% after an hour is big time? Someone has a perspective problem. In the mean time, Google has dropped 1.5% Apple stock always drops between 1 and 5% after every event. Watch what happens in the next week.

I blame it on Apple wheeling U2 out on the stage at the end :D.

You must have missed the part where they said it requires operation with an iPhone. You don't need GPS in both units. If lugging the phone along with you is a problem for you, it certainly isn't your biggest problem.

I heard what they said fine, but if enough people complain about the necessity of lugging around two devices when they go for a run then they will change it. I can somewhat understand it in a gen1 device.....they've got bigger issues (general functionality and battery life) to work out. But by the time we get to gen3 this thing needs to be at least someone self sufficient.

Rectangular watches are so 80's. Just hate them and I think everybody hates them.

You have to understand that this is not a freaking watch! Its a digital display that displays what looks like a watch!

Now that we got that out of the way, would you like your TV round? No? Then talk to the people who design displays, resolution and aspect ratios on why they can't make it round.

What you see are round digital displays are a round bezel on a rectangular display.

Thank you Apple!

Since your "innovation" doesn't interfere anymore with my budget, I can finally focus on my vintage collection of Macs and the great outdoors.

Your greatest and latest innovation was setting me free. Steve couldn't do it. Wish I could say more.

No, you're not. I'm left-handed, wear my watch on my right wrist. It was the first thing I noticed. I couldn't buy one of these if I wanted one (and I don't want one). But were I interested it would be a deal-breaker for me. But, being left-handed, I realize that the world is not built for me. Nor, apparently, is Apple.

Don't really understand this comment. I wear my watch on my right wrist it has the crown and two additional buttons in the same position and I have no problem Operating them.

I am so pissed off of people bashing the 80s.
Look at your ******, awful 2010s and shut the f- up. The 80s were grandiose.

how do you not understand the words "won't need to"? you don't need to. but, if there are lists you don't mind obscuring as you swipe, go for it. but -- you don't need to.

durrr

check out the photo zoom feature where the crown gets used for zooming in or out - you still need to position the appropriate photo under the zoom point and to do that it looks like you're going to have to urm.. swipe

So about 2pm EST was when the keynote transitioned from talking about the iphone to talking about the :apple: watch.......

OK, I'm interested to hear that you think so. At this point when I'm looking at the iPhone the first thing I want to hear about is the sound quality, and they rarely talk about it. I just can't imagine Bluetooth sound ever matching up to real equipment, but I respect your opinion and I'll look into what's happening there.

We actually made some of the first commercially available Bluetooth speakers back in 2006! The quality then was very poor, compression and treble "mush" were awful...

We've just been looking to make a move back into the market and Bluetooth via the iPhone 5 into some of the current chipsets is more than adequate, not "hi-res" maybe but as someone with access to some very serious Hi-Fi setups I'm not disappointed at all really. I'd happily use it as a source for my daily listening, especially with devices supporting the aptX codec which I'd say is on a par with FM quality largely.
