Or more likely, the release date will be released for the 3.0 update during WWDC. It was last year.

Well I have more than 9 pages of apps so I need to jailbreak to hold them all. Unless they announced something to help with that?
Do our phones have to be signed like they were last time to run the developer preview? IIRC, we had to have some certification to run it.

Can't. Had to sign an agreement and if we do can be punished in court. No joke.

AT&T issue. Not Apple.
They said they were "working on it" months ago and then nothing more was said.
In the way that MMS isn't part of ATT's 2G plan and they want you to upgrade to a 3G phone so they can ramp up their efforts to switch EDGE antennas to 3G.
I reckon you could make an app to do tethering to a PC that way.. but doesn't look like they've added DUN/PAN profiles so no connection to standard devices.
