Hopefully there are some more 1337 apps. Looks like I'm going to have to play CS:Source until noon. 🙂

I hope that at the very least if it is "Beta" we can stick our OWN apps on our own iPhones.

If you're one of the "sanctioned developers" you will be able to test the app on your iPhone/iPod Touch.

- BBC's iPlayer site now has a "Beta BBC iPlayer for iPhone" badge when navigated to with an iPhone. Coincidentally appeared on the day of the SDK roadmap.

Anyone else unable to access www.bbc.co.uk on their iPhone at the minute?

Ignore me... think it's the wifi network at work.

This really means nothing.

I'm hoping one of the "enterprise features" is 802.1X support.

Yes please! There are many college kids waiting for this (including me). I know at least two people that did not buy an iPod touch because they could not access our wifi network.

ye that was a great idea...so i made one...anyone on aim and wanna do a chat i made one...its called sdk08 either put ur sn in a post or just come join

Just gimme the Notes client, then I'll be OK with my IT department.

OTOH, even if the SDK is beta, if there's a proper simulator built in, then my wife will have to find something else to do in the evening. 🙂

Hey, thats my snapshot of the BBC iPlayer site! All this fame has gone straight to my head!

Only kidding, but iPlayer on the iPhone would be a great combination, even if you can only stream it, like youtube. An iPlayer app for the iPhone would seal the deal, but I'm not expecting that.

Lol at the time on the BBC screenshot: 13:37

In case you didn't know, times in the UK are generally wrote using the 24 hour clock, 13:37 is 1:37PM 🙂

actually, I think it was a reference to 1337 (as in elite) rather than a 24 hour thing 😉

Try setting your region to United Kingdom - the only option is 24 hour, but I prefer am/pm. Can't be bothered to mess with the files to change this.

It is a coincidence it spells 1337, I did not wait for that exact time for the screenshot!

Do you not have 24 hour time in the US (I think you call it military time)?
