And I keep wondering why not? MS got it right long ago when they did everything they could to make it easy to develop for windows. Sure you were locked in when you did, but it made it easy if you were okay with that. A device like the iphone is only as good as the applications you can have it. Releasing a free, full featured SDK means lots of applications will be written.

Dang, I guess I missed that release somehow (I am a Windows developer by profession). Seriously, when I use Cocoa in my spare time, it makes me want to weep... It is sooooo nice.
