I just logged on to my .Mac - it wasn't down yet.
I saw an ad that says .Mac gets upgraded to 10GB starting on 08/14.
And there was an ad for iWork '08 too, now with "widgets" or something like that - I clicked too quick.

24" Up To 2.8GHz not 2.4GHz as the Cell Text Message Transmitted From MacRumors

MacRumors Cell Text Message got it wrong. They say up to 2.4GHz when in fact it is up to 2.8GHz Core 2 Extreme (Duo). No Kentsfield. Bummer.

Exactly, some people will complain no matter what. I agree with you though, so far these sound like pretty slid updates. I'm looking forward to looking deeper into them though...

I thought the Radeon HD graphics cards were subpar?

Depends on which one... the Radeon HD line is also known as the X2xxx series. The X2900 is quite nice, and compares favorably to the nVidia 8800 overall...

Now, if it is an x2300, then we are screwed, but odds are it is the mid-range x2600 card. Overall, not the top of the line of gaming hardware, but also costs half the price of a x2900 at retail, and provides a majority of the performance. Better cost/perf ratio than the tip-top cards on the market.

EDIT: The low-end comes with an x2400, while the two upper end machines come with x2600s by default...

Having Core 2 Extreme processors is a pretty huge upgrade to the iMacs.

yeah lets wait for the upgrade price on that, Intel list the 2.6GHz at $851.

AVAILABLE TODAY!

I just called my local Apple Store to see if they would have them in stock today and he told me to call back once Apple has updated there website.

So...

I guess they will be carrying them in store today also!!!

P.S.- I don't like the new design, but I do like the new keyboard.
