Really? So you would rather that every web page have no embedded videos or photos and just be text based? New features require more power. Windows XP would run much faster on new hardware than 10 but who would want to lose all the new programs and eye candy?

I mean, sure, but I always have my phone with me, but I don't always carry a tape measure. It's like the saying about cameras: the best camera is the one you have with you

Along the same lines I probably use my phone as a flashlight these days more than I use a regular flashlight, even though the standalone device is better for that purpose...

AR certainly does have a lot of potential. But waving your little 6 inch screen around trying to detect the invisible object isn't it.

It's cool for about 15 seconds until you realize it's easier to view the content without having to hold your phone at an awkward angle in space.

Real AR will enhance (ie augment) reality.

I like the concept of "Shared Experience" but this Lego demo doesn't seem to really showcase it well.
