I'd prefer no additions and have them explain all of the optimizations and clean up they did. After all, there is a room full of developers who could appreciate that.

You realize they have a week of sessions to explain things, right?

Apple have just made watching paint dry exciting what has been announced so far could have been announced in less then half the time. They are missing some of the important points like will macOS APFS support fusion drives. Most of this seems to be we are fixing the bugs in iOS 11, macOS 10.13.

They haven't even started talking about macOS yet. That's later.

Too many major apps disappeared from AW. What a waste. Maybe they can come back so third party will actually be useful?

If the quality if OS 12 is significantly improved from iOS 11, then I can forgive the memoji and "big brother" nanny apps.

iOS 11 should of been good. lol. They have conditioned you to accept terrible so that "ok" is great.

So, we've finally reached the future.

So the only real iOS upgrade is the performance boost. Seriously, why are they wasting so much time and budget to create these useless animoji things and not try to create a decent Dark Mode for iOS like everyone's asking?? "Memoji"?!? What are they doing? I'm starting to lose hope for Apple once again...
Dark mode would be nice, but I'll take the performance and stability.

They are targeting the general public and children. They don't care about pro users.

I would say that the substantial speed improvements are pretty major....

I wouldn't call it substantial based on their following talk point that they now have the processor ramp to full power and coast down rather than the current method of ramping up gradually from idle. Launching something would definitely be faster that way regardless of their OS title.
