Did i hear "new hexacore macbook pro" ?! ?!

nope.

I regret not waiting for Kaby Lake. It’s had a much longer shelf life. I just had no idea they would refresh the 2016s just a few months later. I guess the core i9s will launch by the end of year.

The macOS part was the most interesting. Too bad no new hardware to go with that.

But I mean, really, Mac has never been about specs and "latest processors" and all that. A lot of users here seem to be converted Windows users who wish Mac was more like Windows and PCs (just without their crappiness). I understand that, but it's just not and never was.

Apple may have convinced me to finally go out and get a current iphone SE. I see no real reason to wait for something better.

Yup. I picked up an SE with 128GB and iOS 10 before they killed the 32 bit apps with iOS11. It's doing fine while I transition to hardware with a custom build of android.

Considering the rumours about these being releases focusing on stability and performance, I wasn't terribly underwhelmed by today's announcements.
The lack of any HomePod/Siri improvements, however...

I am not excited about Apple anymore to be honest with you. I bought an X this year, and I think I'm going to get a Note or a Pixel 3, and also switch over to Windows.

I'm not trying to troll, I just want more out of my tech and Apple doesn't seem interested in taking a step into the next level. I think that Apple is going to be like Microsoft was in 2000's in the late 10's and 2020's. They're so comfortable with their success that they won't take risks and innovate.
Looks like apple trolled u

I'm torn. I honestly would LIKE to get a Mac Mini but if they're never gonna update the damn things, I might as well get an iMac. I can't stand Windows 10's quirks for daily driving anymore, and I really would like to get into iOS development as well.

Bleh.

For all those complainers, this is WWDC, meaning it's for developers... software stuff, OS stuff, etc. They were totally on point. For those here that are not developers, wait until your ANNOUNCEMENTS sessions.

So the wait for an iMAC refresh goes on.....

May as well just wait until next year for the Mac Pro!!!

Overall, I like some of the Watch OS's updates. I think there is a big room for improvement on Android watch side (look and feel wise). The other updates are nice but not really necessary- seems more cosmetic.

So, people were saying Samsung copied Apple's animoji and now Apple copy Samsung back on the personalized animoji. Strange no one say that they are creepy like they said for the Samsung's. I think Samsung's is more copy of the bitmoji.

Also the Siri shortcuts seems similar to the existing Bixby's Short Commands (maybe a more watered down version as Bixby can be taught to do even more). I use the short commands for Bixby daily so the shortcuts for siri is an improvement however Bixby do have more control over all of the phone's function than Siri at the moment.

There's a difference between not always going for the latest and greatest and having the nerve to offer several year old hardware for full price, neglecting half of one's portfolio!
