If you think ARKit and create ML are not breathtaking, then why do you even bother watching a developer conference? Just wait for the September keynote.
Have to wait and see till real functioning useful apps emerge. I liked googles demo where they put AR in maps and translations.

I can't decide which was the most toe-curlingly embarrassing part of the keynote. It's a toss up between watching two grown men playing with Lego on stage, Apple's totally original not copied from Samsung Memoji, or #MommyForTheWin. What was yours?

macOS Mojave will be available this fall as a free software update for Macs introduced in mid-2012 or later, plus 2010 and 2012 Mac Pro models with recommended Metal-capable graphics cards. Some features may not be available in all regions or languages.

Phew! That was close! Well, the day when I will be forced to buy a new Mac is getting closer and closer. What can you do...all things must come to an end. :(

I am not satisfied on developing on stale hardware. I have an iMac Pro actually.
The problem is: Most of your (potential) customers (and quite some of the developers, too) can not afford that one up-to-date machine. And the rest of the portfolio looks pretty stale by today.
However, you are missing my point. Most of the complaints come from the lack of new hardware announcement and that happens very rarely at WWDC. Don't know where people got excited about rumors that lacked any sense.
It's a sign how desperate people are for an end to a year-long neglect of half of Apple's Mac portfolio. Apple have blown it on this, big time.

Very disappointed about the lack of mac hardware updates. They're so freaking rich and yet they don't bother updating their hardware on a regular basis. Also, when they say the Mac Pro is a 2019 product I get the feeling it won't be until the latter half. Also, the dream of Apple supporting Nvidia eGPUs has almost completely vanished now.

Apple keynotes have turned into the most ridiculous, pathetic, I am trying way toooo hard to fit in and be cool with the cool kids events I have ever seen.

I mean really, it looks like a clown show at times if not a snooze fest. What are 50 year olds doing get so amped by saying "My memoji sticks a tongue out, super fun and cool."

They are SO corny that its sad because they literally think they are funny or hip. They can't find a way to be cool and do it in a natural way because thats a personality trait which they lack severely.

Haha! So true!!

Honestly, this REALLY didn't need an on-stage press conference. Just mention these minor things in a blog post update on your webpage. Nothing there was worthy of summoning all of these people and press for some on-stage presentation. It's almost cringey feeling tbh.

Nice... so the latest and greatest Macminis and MacPro’s are able to handle Mojave like most of Apple’s hardware that haven’t seen a decent upgrade since 2012.

Multi-monitoring is the reason I recommend Macs over Windows PCs! Have you worked with a laptop and multiple screens with a docking station and then just unplugged the cord? It instantly destroys your DPI settings and mixes giant symbols with tiny text no one can read. Logging out and back in fixes it. This is Windows. macOS: Everything works seamless, it even memorizes window positions in multiple different scenarios, e.g. at home and in the office. This is just awesome. Only downside is, macOS doesn't support MST, so basically you must hook up a second monitor directly on the device. But the overall multi-monitoring thing, in my experience, is much better than in Windows.
Windows 10 has all this covered. I have 5x 27 inch dell screens hooked up to my main windows machine, can Remote Desktop in to it from my mac, see all open applications, and when i log in locally again, all windows are exactly where I left them over the 5 screens.
Same after rebooting. But what really pisses me off, is that on macos there is no way to have the dock on the side of the middle screen (of 5). No duplicate dock or anything like you can have for the task bar in windows.

Funny that the newer version of iOS (iOS 12) will run on the same hardware as the previous iOS, but the newer version of macOS requires minimum mid-2012 and later hardware whereas the 10.13 will run on mid-2010 and some older hardware.

Seems like the iOS update is more hardware intensive than the computer updates.

I’d say your memory if previous WWDC keynote is very short or limited.

Apparently Microsoft stole the show by acquiring Github & that was today's biggest dev related news.

I hate to say it, but after building a couple hackintoshes I have to say it's not worth it. It's just not the same experience. Although the hacking was a fun challenge, I found myself tinkering with it more than working.

Updating to a newer OS is a huge hassle, and there are always a few things that "just [don't] work". Hackintoshing is good for tech minded people with a fair bit of time on their hands. It was an intriguing project, but I'd rather just buy a genuine Apple and save the time for other things.

Pick a version of macOS you would like to use for a few years like 10.12.6 and build a Hackintosh buddy. That way you can have all the performance you can afford on tap instead of waiting on Apple. I’m sure you can build one in a Mini form factor.

If Apple isn't going to improve Siri then they should allow users to use Assistant as the primary AI on their phones and computers. But they would never do that.
Considering the kind of data mining done by those digital assistants, and Apple going as far as masking their devices’ info, yes, Apple would never do what you suggested.
But I rather be on Apple’s side tbh.

From Apple release.

Yeap, the original Apple Watch is no longer supported.

Mojave is appropriate - the OS is barren and boring like a dessert. Kidding.

There were some interesting features but again, nothing game-changing. Also, I don't know why everyone is so obsessed with dark-mode. I can kind of understand the photography thing but who wants to stare at a "dark as death" screen all day?

They really should merge iOS and MacOS though. Only then will iPads replace MacBook Pros. Why can't they add mouse support to iOS and let someone attach a BT keyboard? It certainly would solve the crappy keyboard problem they've yet to fix in the MBPs. ;). Consolidation of their product lines would be beneficial, but I'm sure Apple would prefer to sell you multiple redundant devices that generally do the same thing.
