Hey guys, I think I found our plane to Alaska!

The departure time is off, but this is most likely our plane since we have departed from Incheon and this is the only plane going from Incheon to Anchorage.
Only time will tell.

This flight contains iPhone shipments! My iPhone and many other users with an iPhone that was stuck in Zhengzhou until it departed at 5:15 P.M. on 9/30 have arrived in Alaska!
My as well as others shipments have returned to 10/1 from 10/3 after arrival in Alaska.

I don't know if its just me but now that we have left Zhengzhou the updates in tracking seem to get added faster. With that in mind I would say that theres a high chance we may have just managed to get on the last flight today. I have heard some people have actually had their shipping date change back to a sooner date after leaving Incheon.
Hoping mine is on that plane. I have the 5:15p Zhengzhou departure, but nothing since then. Maybe it just missed some scans.
So, mine looks just like yours, but my tracking isn't updated past the "5:15 P.M. Departed ZhengZhou" line and my delivery still shows the thrice bumped date of Oct 6th. Different flights? Lazy scanning? Ghosts, like someone suggested above?
So many questions...

I want to believe that, and I'm still holding out hope, but I think the one difference we are seeing with those of us that have been passed over is that our tracking got pushed to Monday. Maybe that's an automated thing, though, so who knows.

It seems like there's a group of people with the departure from zhengzhou and no scans after that, I'm not sure but I think those people also have a Monday delivery date. This makes me think more that the shipment plane was full and that they will hitch a ride on the next outgoing flight.

I'm one of those people, but my scheduled delivery date was 10/2 (can't tell now, since I changed mine to pickup)... even if they couldn't make 10/2, I wonder why they fallback to Monday instead of Friday?
There was someone in another thread (or as it this one, I'm all mixed up now) who was relaying some info from UPS that their contract with Apple had a maximum # of units they could accept at a time.
My guess is that once it lands it would probably take an hour in order to show the updated scan in Anchorage... Hope everyone's phones are ok and in this flight.
This is what it seemed to take for the status to update for me to get the depart status from Incheon to show up.

I saw that post too. Seems like a type of tactic for Apple to save a little more money on this "Expedited shipping". If thats really the case, then it looks like the people with that status may have not been in the device shipment because the slots for the day were filled.

Flight has landed!
Waiting for UPS to update if this is our plane.
Still holding out some hope here - not sure if anyone else has seen a departure without an arrival somewhere. I have seen some people loop back into a location though... which may be a sign of a pallet not making it onto a plane.
I think they probably would. My guess is the delivery date is automatically set by the system. So if the system doesn't get any update on when (or where) the device is going it would push it back to a reasonable day. If that is actually the case, then I'm sure that the date will be returned to 10/3 when it gets an update on where the device is.
But keep in mind this is just my thought on how their shipping works, cause who would want (or even be able to do) a job where you update, calculate, and check delivery dates on millions of packages a day. This could not be how it works, but it seems like a reasonable way.
